AG Care Mousse Gel Extra-Firm Curl Retention, 10 Fl Oz

My curly hair specialist recommended this product. This is my 4th or 5th bottle already. I absolutely love this stuff. It has a slight fresh smell that isn't overpowering at all. I use it after my gel and it creates the perfect cast that holds in moisture and scrunches out so easily with a drop of oil leaving my curls looking so beautiful with no frizz. And my hair lasts for days! (I have type 3A curls)

I mainly wear wash n go hairstyles and this is my go to. My hairstylist uses this on my hair as well. Curls are not frizzy, crunchy, or greasy. The key is to make sure the hair is wet not just damp and sit under a hooded dryer. I’m not a diffuser girly, so a hooded dryer works for me.

I’ve really enjoyed using this AG Care hair mousse. It gives my hair noticeable volume and definition without making it feel stiff or crunchy. The formula is lightweight, easy to distribute, and helps control frizz while keeping my hair looking soft and natural. It doesn’t leave any sticky residue, and my style lasts much longer throughout the day. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while. When I first started my curly girl journey, this was my go to and still is today. I love how there is just a little crunch afterwards and I’m left with shiny, soft and bouncy curls. There is a soft scent to it, but it doesn’t stick around on your hair. I have fine, thin hair and it works really well!

I have a lot of hair but it’s very thin so most product is too heavy for it and makes in greasy. This product does not! It’s perfect for thin hair! My curls are soft and defined with no grease.

I was truly hoping that I would Iove this product. I love other AG products and use them regularly. When I learned thst AG made a product that combined mousse with gel, I was super excited to use it for my wash-n-go. I have textured hair and finding products that work best at times can be an exercise of trial and error. This product was an error for me. It might work well for someone else but, I didn’t like it. It didn’t didn’t hold up well at all and o needed to do a whole new wash-n-go in 2 days. I have better results with a foam wash-n-go with another product that I probably can’t mention in this review but it sounds like Doo.

This mousse gel is extremely light weight, doesn't dry out out hair if used too much, doesn't weigh down hair, has a really good hold as well (upto 48 hrs for my hair). I have fine and oily 2c/3a curls low porosity so pretty much any product weighs my hair down. This is the first product which hasn't weighed my hair down. My curls look and feel beautiful and even if you use too much, its super easy to break this gel cast so you absolutely can't go wrong with this one!. It is a little to the expensive side but its well worth the money.

Works well with curly hair

This mousse is the best I have ever used, and, I have used many before this one. The light texture is deceiving......it gives your hair definition, thickness and enhances your curls. It is simply amazing! It is well worth the money......you do not need to use a lot each time. I will never go back to other mousses after this.

Great curly girl friendly product. I scrunch it through my hair and plop a few minutes before diffusing, and it gives me great curls. Not perfect definition (for that I need to layer on extra gel and it takes forever to dry, special occasion only!)...but a great everyday product for curly hair. Dries fast. Love it!

I bought this a few months ago and still have it. I use it when I want/need a good hair day. Add water so it spreads better and you use less. Gives a good defined hold for curls. Tames frizz too and the smell is decent. 8/10 would recommend. It's expensive, that's the main downfall.

This line of hair products are amazing. My hair feels great. You do not need to use a lot. My hair is healthier than it has ever been. I dye my hair a lot, my stylist can not believe how great my hair is doing.

I love AG products overall. This mousse is decent. Has a good hold. However, the alcohol in this formula dries out my hair a bit. The smell, however, is EXTREME. It has a strong floral scent which is find overwhelming. I smell it for hours and even though this product does great things for my hair, I rarely use it because the odor is so off-putting.
