Whilst the rings are not quite the size i wanted, I am still able to use them. The set is easy and using it is the same.

Expect to be disappointed. Disappointed with the quality and in use they are slightly awkward to use and the supplied rings are way too flimsy for all but the lightest of duties.

I am a little biased as I love DeWalt tools and have quite a lot of them! However, in all fairness, this is the best pair of Hog Ring Pliers I have purchased. In the past I have had those where the clip holder sticks out at right angles - really hate those, they are always getting tangled in the chicken wire! I have had a couple of pairs of the chinese un-branded versions of these which are ok, but tricky to release the spring and/or get it to stay shut. We have only used these a little bit so far but I can say without a doubt that I will never buy an unbranded set again! If, like us, you only use them occasionally these are the perfect pair in terms of ease of use and value. If you use them every day then you probably need to fork out £1k on a cordless set, if you are only going to use them for 1 job and then never use them again, buy the unbranded set and throw them away when you have finished! But for use a couple of times a year these are really good and much better value then the cheap ones (and much better for your temper!).

Great for bird netting and comes with some hog rings too

I'm a DEWALT fan, but not of this. I purchased it to fix hog rings to rods on the base of a car seat. 20 failed attempts to get the hog rings on using this device and I gave up, and used pliers instead.

Good once you break it in but for some reason the new one I have isn’t working well.. won’t fully close the rings

These pliers were fairly useless on a farm fence, not very robust Returned them.

Works great. Really nice to auto load in cold weather. I used these for burlap when wrapping shrubs. Should have bought these years ago. Took my manual ringer along just in case, but these worked better than I had expected. May not be great for large gauge wire but for burlap they are king. The Dewalt rings are quite expensive but there are cheaper options that work in the Dewalt tool. I have no regrets buying this tool!

Does not make a tight crimp on the staple. Maybe useful to keep wire together, but not to keep it tight
