Great mortar and pestle. This is quite heavy and solid. It was able to grind spices (cloves and selim). The size is perfect, not too big. It was easy to clean, no staining in the mortar.

This is and excellent product but larger than I thought and much heavier but these are not bad thing the weight helps it to stay still when grinding but maybe of concern to some people.The black colour suits my kitchen it's deep wide bowl allows for grinding larger quantities. Grinds extremely well.

Absolutely brilliant, it’s big, it’s chunky and it’s very heavy, I’ve got big hands and it’s great to receive a proper sized product. Obviously it grinds stuff to a pulp too. Rapid delivery and a decent price

Good size, quality and gets the job done. It is heavy though, for those who might find that a problem but I was fine with this. A mark did appear on the inner section after use but doesn't make any difference to how it operates.

Everything online likes to say it's premium. This thing actually IS. It's a good size and a fair bit heavier than I was expecting. It also has small grooves cut into the bowl to help with grinding. I use mine to grind up freeze dried treats from time to time to add to my dog's food when they start getting bored of it. Works like a charm. I just hope I don't accidentally drop it on my foot one day!

I've been using this a lot for crushing herbs and spices and creating all kinds of rubs and additions to my marinades for BBQing. The quality of the stone is great, and it's nice and heavy so it crushes everything with ease. Before I used to rely on store bought rubs and marinades, but that's usually filled with ingedrients I don't want, like sugars and preservatives. With this set I can make my own healthier alternatives. Quite a beautiful set to look at as well! Really happy with the quality of this, and for a fair price as well. I highly recommend this!
