Garden Marker Pen (2 Pack) Weather Resistant, UV Fade Resistant Black Permanent Markers for Plant Labels

I don’t recommend any other garden marker - that’s how great these work. I’ve used them for two years now for winter sowing, and I am so impressed. The markers are used just like any other marker - very easy to use for labeling my seed containers. For the quality of marker, the cost is incredible. It stays on even in the sun and looks great. I’m going to be able to use these for another year or more. Very sturdy.

The plant tags I used this marker on in March still look great in June. Full sun, No Fading or washing away in storms/watering. We got a similar marker when we bought our plant tags and it was absolutely terrible quality it felt flimsy and wouldn’t write well. This one is so much better! Feels nice quality. Easy to write with. Very useful for labeling your plants.

These are great! They slip together nicely, and there is plenty of space to write. My garden loves them!

These garden markers are great, so far. Used a Sharpie on last season’s tulip labels but discovered all the labels were either blank or just illegible ghosts when time came to identify, harvest and sell 2 dozen varieties. These garden markers are on my dahlia labels now, and writing is still crisp and clear in spite of sun and rain. Yay!!

I was on a quest to find the best marker that was waterproof and that could be used outside for plant labels that needed to be legible no matter the weather. I bought three different markers made by three different manufacturers and all three claimed to be made for gardening. When I wrote with each pen they all wrote well and were thick enough to be able to see the writing even when on a small plant label. The second test was to put all the labels into water and let them sit in a bowl of water to see which one did the best. As you can see from my pictures, all three markers stood strong even while immersed in water. The last test was to add other elements to see how much it would withstand. I used Windex first and all markers stood strong. I then used Clorox cleanup to the last test and that is where the markers reacted differently. One of the markers did not stand up to Clorox, however the other two still stayed put. I am really impressed with the marker's durability and can be assured that the labels I put in my seed pot will still be there when the seeds turn into a plant and I will know what I’ve grown. The 133 Supply Marker is the marker on the right and was a very good performer and will be a pen I can use moving forward for my gardening needs. One extra point for this marker is that it is Xlene-free to ensure that these chemicals are not bleeding into your plants. Since I do a lot of organic gardening this feature is important to me.

I don't know about fade resistance, since I haven't had them long. They are not waterproof. I did allow the ink to dry and still the some ink came off when the sprinkler came on.
