How do I clean excess dirt from this product?

You can just rinse under normal tap water and if a bit more stubborn dirt on it they you can use weak washing up liquid directly on it. I just rinse under that tap myself

Does the lid clip on closed or just sit on top ? As mine just falls off if you turn it upside down or to the side

It just sits on top. There is no need to turn the cleaner to the side or upside down, surely.

Is this product suitable for B&O tangential tone arm?

The onzow block is positioned on the platter of your turntable so what you need to do is make sure that your pickup arm will have the clearance for the stylus to safely swing over the onzow so that it can be lowered momentarily on to the cleaning gel and lifted straight up. So your B&O arm needs to be high enough for your stylus tip to swing over the little plastic case holding the cleaning gel.

Is the lid supposed to stay on ? As my lid jsut falls off when you touch it

I don't understand why this is an issue unless you have the cleaner glued to a vertical surface. The lid is vital to keep the gel clean from ambient dust but it isn't a tight fit and just lifts gently off so you can use the cleaner and use the magnifier in the lid to check the stylus.
