Polycell PLCMPPR600GS Multi Purpose Polyfilla Ready Mixed, 600 g, Off-white

This Polyfilla is a truly fantastic product. We needed something reliable to fill in some cracks inside our daughter’s wardrobe, and this did the job perfectly. It was really easy to use, providing a lovely smooth finish, and I was impressed by how quickly it dried. It definitely did what we wanted it to do, giving us a great surface ready for painting. Since the tub is quite large for the price, it feels like good value for money for any DIY task. I have zero complaints about it and would absolutely recommend that others buy it!

This is a very strong repair for patches covers 20mm depth or more because it was quite deep, took more than a day to fully set, but didn't slump or anything in that time. I would use this again for patching, easy to apply, no mixing as ready to use out of the tub, it had a good coverage for how deep the patches were used whole tub

I bought this from Amazon in July 2019. I was going to buy some more today but didn't. The product itself is excellent. It's very easy to use and it works very well. You can use it to fill surprisingly deep gaps without having to build it up in layers. It doesn't shrink at all as it dries. It sticks to a multitude of surfaces. It's rock hard when it dries and doesn't crack even on surfaces that are walked on. It can be painted over. It works just fine outdoors, in the rain and in fairly large variations in temperature. It's pretty much perfect for a wide variety of jobs. The only drawback I found is the overly optimistic statement of drying time. A thin layer will dry in the stated drying time, but you're probably not using this product in a thin layer. It's intended for deep gaps, hence the name, and those will take at least a day to dry. But that's more a drawback in the labelling than the product itself.So why didn't I buy more today? Because the price on Amazon is now about 2.5 times the price for the same product elsewhere and that is ridiculous. I paid ~£8 for it from Amazon in July and that's the usual price both then and now. Amazon is charging ~£20 for it at the moment.

When I had new windows installed, the plasterboard around the windows were damaged, used this very successfully to repair the damage before sanding and repainting. Great for fixing any plaster board damage in walls or ceilings.

I had a massive crack across a wall in my hallway. I tried regular filler, but the crack kept coming back.I bought some fibreglass self adhesive tape from Amazon to cover the crack with the hopes that the filler would adhere.The tape wasn’t sticky at all, so I rather naively applied it with a lot of PVA. Big mistake!!!Of course it stuck well, as did the polyfiller, but when I went to paint over it, it reactivated the PVA and caused a right mess.I had to scrape everything off again, get the PVA off, and get back to the crack.Messy and very time consuming.Out of desperation, I bought this ready made plaster, and thought I’d try it.It doesn’t go on easily, it drops off your knife, so you have to pack it on as best you can, and leave it to dry.A real tradesman would be able to work with it, with the correct tools, but I’m not a plasterer.I left it to dry for 24 hours, and sanded it off. It sands back like a dream, and now I have what looks like a brand new wall with no crack.I’ve just applied a primer and you can see it’s wet in the photo, but so far so good.Let’s see how long it lasts, and hopefully the crack won’t reappear?!?Fingers crossed.

I can't plaster to save my life but this has been so easy to use! It went on well, nice creamy texture not too thick. Sands down well with little effort and paints over very easily with no bleed through, only took 2 coats!!! Definitely well worth if you have a job that doesn't need a full replanted but is abit too big for filler!!!

Quick set cement.Sets quickly and fairly easy to mix and apply.But when dry, small hairline cracks appear, also it seems to crumble eventually after a few months if weight is put on it. ie. edge of my garden steps.Okay for quick repairs where it's exposed to little wear and tear.

Mixes well, enough in box and 2 separate packets so don't worry about waste. Drys quick and no shrink. Smooth finish needed light sanding. Easy to mix. Ok for price not cheapest but if you're in a rush its fine.

After a year, a freezing winter, very hot spring, and many, many cracks, NO SHRINKAGE!

Does as described

This is so easy to use and sets very quickly. Dries fully within a day. I used this to emboss my ceiling using floral stencils and it turned out great! can be washed off tool etc. with warm/hot water ( i do recommend doing this while its still mostly wet but can be soaked and removed if it has already hardened.)

I had some ceiling drywall not taped and cracking were noticeable and this filler works great.Easy to use and easy to apply i would give it some weeks to see if cracking re appears.

This product worked really great to patch cracks in our plaster walls. I'm impressed!
