This is a great travel camera
Context: I have used 35mm SLRs in the past, and advanced compacts recently. I do travel and street pics on Insta - @mr_foldyThis camera is great. For me, it looks and feels like a camera should - it looks solid and even a bit complicated. (It really isn’t complicated.) The EZ 14-45mm lens is compact and easily fast enough for street photography. The longer 44-100mm is great for cropping, flattening and extra reach.Image results are stunning, Sharp as a tack. Photography techniques and tricks all work as expected. Better even. Stepping up from a compact or a phone, you will notice the range of detail across the light and shadow in your pics. You could shoot on auto forever and get good pics. But the Olympus has loads of easy to access features which will take you to amazing pics. If you get to the point where you find whatever limits this camera has, it probably means you have grown immensely as a photographer. That’s £525 well spent.

Lovely camera, very small, picture quality is superb, the colours are very vivid, makes my old Fuji Finepix bridge camera look very dated.

Great camera
I'm a rookie but this is really helping me get a grasp on photography. Easy enough to use and small enough to take everywhere. Love the Wi-Fi feature so I can import pictures easily to my phone, and the remote control using my phone to take pictures to reduce camera shake. Love it

A very good camera with some wasted potential.
I really like it. I haven't got a smart phone so I don't know how those features work. Three things have prevented me from giving a 5-star rating:(1) Since this can create a wi-fi hotspot to send pictures to a smart phone, why can't you also send pictures to PC over wifi? How hard would it have been to include that? It already has wi-fi, don't they know that most people will want to transfer pictures to a computer?(2) The viewfinder is obviously just a tiny (very high-res) screen showing the same thing as the main screen - that's why this isn't a DSLR. That's fine, but there is quite a bit of jitter on the small screen that is very annoying and really reminds you that you aren't using a DSLR. The image on the main screen is very smooth so I don't know why it has this problem on the viewfinder.(3) Speaking of the main screen, it's always on unless you have your eye right up to the viewfinder. It would be really good to have a button which turns off the main screen. You can stick something over the sensor next to the viewfinder, but then if you do want to use the main screen to view your photos, you have to un-stick it. A button would be great, and would have been easy for them to do. Even better would be if the screen was able to flip around to protect it and turn it off - it does move but only tilts at a 45degree angle, it doesn't turn all the way around.Apart from these issues, it's a good camera, you can read about the good points on the Olympus website.

A Perfect Camera.
This is a superb camera for advanced photographers or beginners. It takes clear night shots without a tripod. Whatever photography you're into this camera will suit you. Great looking and a reasonable price.

... impressed with this camera after using the mkii and loved it I thought this camera would be even better ...
I was not impressed with this camera after using the mkii and loved it I thought this camera would be even better but no.....this is just my opinion but the image quality was awful (could be a faulty camera) but the handling and features are so much fun I loved using it until I got the images back on my computer so after a whole day of owning this it went back and I'm now a proud owner of a 80d
