Some animals lend themselves easily to quilling. The sheep, for example, features basic round coils in black or white paper representing the curly wool. Others, such as the whimsical hippo crafted from teardrop-shaped coils and the fringed hedgehog, require more creative techniques. The directions are easy to follow, and able templates provide the basic outline for arranging the quilled paper.
