This is brilliant - painting without the mess! My 3 year old is engrossed and hasn't stopped playing with it for two weeks solid. And its so elegant it really teaches about art and beauty. The only thing that would make this better is the option for two boards - 3 year olds really dont have the patience to wait for it to dry!!! Also enjoyed by me after she goes to bed, and occiaisionally by Grandma - very versatile and relaxing!

I bought this for my 3 year old grandson to use after he discovered and used it at a friend’s house. He loves making his pictures and waits for it to dry, so he can draw or paint again. On a practical level it saves the use of wax or coloured pencils which after he drew on the walls, for me this was a better option. He gets to keep drawing or painting and I avoid the other type of mess. As a tip it is worth buying the plastic paint brushes which you can fill with water for use. This saves filling a jar or something else with water needed to paint and avoids spillages. He loves it and so do the adults. I bought this version as that is what he tried out initially but there are other cheaper options available on market. Would definitely buy again.

The board works as it says it will, a lovely product. Slightly disappointed that it doesn't look exactly like it does on the box, there is a small lip around the edge, and it looks cheap in comparison. Still worth a look if you like interesting items on your desk.

Outstanding concept and well executed. Awesome for parents in that it doesn't leave a mess, and encourages creativity over and over again! Fun for the whole family too! Once you get into it, very hard to put away! Have bought several now for our grandchildren, and they all love it.

Very calming to just paint with the water and then leave it five and your ready to go. My 4 year old also loves painting on this and keeps him busy for half an hour or so. Not to large in size with the main painting area being a bit over a4. No mess as it comes with a cover for the brush and easy to empty and dry the base.

1- Great for brainstorming. 2- Great for learning to let go. 3- Great for de-stressing. 4- Great for practicing how to write kanji/ chinese characters. Great way of spending time, JUST DO NOT ALLOW YOUNG CHILDREN ALONE WITH IT!! And if a child will be using it give him/her another paintbrush!

I bought this for my younger clients but even my older clients love this. Draw/paint how your feeling at the beginning of a session and whilst you work through your feelings the picture disappears. So simple! Well made and looks good.

A bit pricey for what it is, as the material that the "painting" is done on is cheap and common calligraphy practice material in China. But mounting it nicely on a board and presenting it as such is a genius idea. You can't well give someone a sheet of paper and tell them it's magical and they can write on it over and over with water, but you can give them this and it comes in a nice box and has a little booklet to explain what they are supposed to do with it and looks elegant when set up. So. The recipient loved it and everyone else in the room wanted to play with it, so well worth it. I'm tempted to get one for myself even though I have sheets of the magical paper.

Fun gift options! My adult kids loved the ease of use and it dries quickly so can create a new painting. Easy and quick to use.

Pueden utilizarse otros pinceles, hay que tener cuidado de no rayar la superficie. Si le pones unos cantos rodados en la cubeta del agua, la experiencia se vuelve más orgánica y auténtica. Para los niños es algo mágico. Magnífico para un regalo y también para un autorregalo.

I placed the buddha board in a common area for everyone in the family to enjoy. To my great surprise, everyone had a go at using it and had heaps of fun with it. In fact, we started having discussions on how to write certain Chinese characters, which is a great way for us to connect with our older parents. My husband also commented on the fact that he love that it just dries up and disappears, so he doesn't care as much about making mistakes, allowing him to freely draw whatever. Big thumbs up from everyone!

What a unique idea. My daughter and son in law love zen. I new this would be an excellent gift for them. They love it and use it all the time. They move it around to different rooms depending on what they are up to. Great . Love it
