I bought this gel after searching for a replacement hair gel as the one I previously used for years seemed to have changed the formula and just wasn't as good anymore. I'm not one to normally write product reviews but I was very surprised at just how good this is for the price, it smells nice, holds my hair in place perfectly all day and zero flakiness. I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy a quality hair gel and I will be buying more of this when I need it 🙂

I will no longer be buying this product from the local hair stores, I suspect that they are selling counterfiet products because their did not hold. This product from Amazon has better hold and texture great for 4c/4b/4a hair for sleek buns and edges, very tacky heavy gel unlike Eco and will dry hard, so wash it out to remove it. Perfect.

would be perfect for slick backs! however if you are looking for edge control this wouldn't be best, the wax might work better 💔 it has quite a strong hold but it's very gel-like so if you have 4c hair like me your hair may lift a bit! but it still works just as described

Great gummy hair gel for laying down edges — gives a shiny finish while keeping hair neat and in place. Just a tip: if you leave the jar open, the consistency will change, so make sure to close it tightly after use.

Amazing for edges. Will lay your edges flat all day. Please be careful to not put on your actual hair perimeter too often as it will lead to your hair falling out. This is not a fault of the product, but my sister and I have had to learn the hard way through trial and error. You can use to sleek your hair down - it’s not crunchy but like I mentioned before use not too often at your own risk. Besides that it’s a staple in my hair product collection and couldn’t be without. Also last disclaimer this product is not ‘curly hair’ friendly as it contains silicones. If that does not matter to you this product will be your best friend

Very good and has strong hold on 4 C hair, I can lovingly recommend it to anyone looking for stronger holding on type 4 C hair. My girls use it now often and easy to go to went I don’t have time to do their hair.
