Security Screwdriver Bit Set 3.8mm + 4.5mm for Nintendo N64 / SNES/Gameboy/Cart Opening Repair

I have some SNES games that I still occasionally like to play. Unfortunately, all the games are from the early 1990s and the button cell batteries inside are well past their expiry dates. There are two problems replacing a SNES battery, one of which normally involves soldering. The other is getting inside the cartridge as Nintendo used quite an unusual screw to hold the cartridges together. This screwdriver (or at least the smaller one) solves the second problem. As a test I went up to my loft and brought down both a UK SNES cartridge and a US SNES cartridge. Just to be safe, I used cartridges that I was unlikely to ever want to play again. I need not have worried. It fits both cartridge types perfectly - I had each one open in about 30s. Once you have removed the screws the cartridge easily opens into two halves. In case you are wondering, reassembly is just as easy. The screwdrivers seem to be well made and are a good fit (they have to be really). The handles allow for a good grip although none of the screws on my cartridges were a tight fit. I haven't encountered this type of screw on anything else so I don't suppose I will use this screwdriver very often but if you need to get inside a SNES cartridge, this is all you need.

Perfect for gamecube. Long enough to get screws at bottom of case. Fit screw heads nicely absolutely no problem opening up and then closing 3 gamecubes. Used to replace clock battery. Screw handle is nice and thick and easy to hold. Good price.

I had a broken SNES with a suspected pico-fuse replacement needed, so I bought these to get into the case. Really quick delivery and good quality items. The head of the screwdriver is good and strong - and a perfect fit, so you don't round off the heads of the screws of your precious console. Worked absolutely perfectly, with no damage to the tools. My issue was indeed the pico-fuse, so it was an easy repair and happy times with these screwdrivers. Would recommend to anyone needing to work on a Nintendo console that needs this tool.

They do exactly what they shoud - I managed to open my Sega Mega drive II cartridges with the larger one and GameBoy Colour cartridge with the small one. The grip is comfort and nice, no matter the a bit cheap feeling.

Dopo un'esperienza deludente con un altro prodotto simile acquistato, questi cacciavite mi hanno piacevolmente sorpreso. Sono dritti, solidi, aderiscono perfettamente alla vite, senza rischio di spanarla, e sono della lunghezza giusta perché siano pratici senza essere troppo ingombranti. Sono perfetti per le vecchie console e cartucce di gioco Nintendo. Io li sto usando per GameCube e cartucce NES. Ideali da abbinare con un Tri-Wing e con un Phillips, in modo da avere un arsenale completo per smontare qualsiasi console e cartuccia Nintendo.

Ich habe hier den ersten Eindruck gewertet die Robustheit oder Haltbarkeit/Qualität kann ich jetzt in kurzer Zeit noch nicht bewerten . Aber die Schraubendreher machen einen guten Eindruck und passt zB. für SNES Nintendo spiele. Macht was es soll, klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Che abbiate un SuperNintendo od un Nintendo 64, questi cacciaviti sono indispensabili e molto più pratici dei classici "innesti" di prolunga che si trovano in commercio su vari siti. Non so se vadano bene anche per altre console ma per queste due sono perfetti.
