Open FACE Balaclava Sturmhaube

Typical A* quality. Brilliant item and works really well. Warm and doesn't add any thickness of sort to disrupt the fitting of my helmet.

First time of wearing such a product and wish I'd had one before. Very well made as you'd expect from Alpine Stars, I was worried it was too thin but after using on my ride to work it went under my Shoei helmet nicely, helped reduce noise and kept my head warm and the cold out. I ride a 99 R1 and in either crouched or upright positions it felt really good

The design makes it hard to stop your spectacles from steaming up, I'll have to experiment to get it right.

Having tried several nylon, silk, acrylic and cotton balaclavas all with windproof motorcycle in the e title, this one actually is made for riders not just suitable for skiing and hiking etc.. The problem with balaclavas for riders is that it needs to be a bit fitted, tapered around the neck and not so stretchy that when you put your helmet on it doesn't pull it half way down your head Although the hole is a bit too large and barely covers the nose it's also a bit too small to have the nose and mouth exposed. Well for me anyway. Otherwise it fits well for motorcycle helmets, doesn't snag to the helmet lining, thin enough to not stop blood circulation and is wind proof.

Excellent and exactly what I was looking for

This product is excellent. It keeps my head and neck warm. It also covers my chin. As it is open face I can wear my glasses whilst wearing it and they do not steam up.

I'm afraid I would not recommend this product. The material is very light and does not offer much protection. For one size fits all it is quite small and I'm no big lad. It also offers very little to no neck protection from the wind. Very disappointed.

Not sure I would buy this again, reviews looked promising but it just doesn't seem to fit my head correctly, bulges out on the sides. I'm going to order a more silk/lycra type of material, that's more stretchy much easier to get on and off.

J’ai acheté la balaclava Alpinestars Mixte Open Face Cap pour me protéger du froid lors de mes balades à moto. Dès que je l’ai essayée, j’ai su que c’était un excellent choix. La matière est douce et agréable contre la peau, tout en offrant une bonne isolation thermique. Elle couvre parfaitement la tête et le cou, sans être trop encombrante. Même dans des conditions de froid intense, elle reste confortable et ne gêne pas sous le casque. C’est exactement ce dont j’avais besoin pour continuer à rouler l’hiver sans avoir à me soucier du froid. Je suis vraiment satisfait de cet achat, et je recommande cette balaclava à tous les motards qui cherchent à rester au chaud pendant l’hiver. Un investissement qui vaut le coup !
