According to information on this product from the seller, with a 29 inch waist I am size medium: 27.6 - 33.5 inch waist. However when I tried it on, the item is MUCH too tight! You caqn see from the photo how the lower strap does not reach around the front. I am in some pain already, which is why I bought the thing, but the extreme tightness compresses all the painful bits. I simply can not wear it. It seems like I would have to go up 2 sizes to get a decent, individualised fit that holds without extreme compression. I would happily exchange, but the seller does not offer returns or exchanges. It is not even possible to contact the seller from my orders.

Expensive, but I must have 4 others and this is by far the best. Also pulls in the Christmas belly very slightly. :) My pain is from slight scholosis and a repeatedly broken collarbone from rugby and cycling. This really braces things, relieves pain in the short term and has helped me build better habits. Doesn't cut in and although the wraps for the shoulder pads would ideally be built in. I can't think of how to improve them and still have a one size fits all option. Expensive, but buy once, buy right.

Good quality product, well made and good support for my injury- I had a clavicle subluxation and sc joint injury. I ordered a medium as there were no smalls in stock and just as well really as they don't come up very big- I'm a UK size 6. In the first few days I had to wear it all day and it did start to rub a bit around my waist and under my arms, but I just wore it over one layer, not a problem. I don't wear it all day now as don't want to rely on the support. It was quite difficult for me to put on at first because of my range of movement. Overall, really happy with this product, it allowed me to get back to teaching my exercise classes without compromising my recovery.

After all those years of my mum constantly telling me to look down when i walk, so i don't tread in dog muck has finally caught up with me. Been having problems with my upper back, shoulders and neck, so i thought maybe it's not too late to change a bad habit. the vest is of a good quality. Though i wish i had gone for the next size up, as it is a little tight around the waist. even though i was 5 cm under the recommended measurement. there are no instructions on the box, so it did take me some time to figure out how to put it on. especially when they only show the back view. The top of the brace cuts into your neck so i have to pull my t-shirt up over the brace to stop it annoying me. otherwise a good buy. I'm hoping i can get alot of years use out of it. only time will tell...

Dissapointed doesn't hold you upright as expected you can still slouch with it on

I bought a medium size which was too small. So I bought a large size. This is better, but it still chafes under the arms. There is no way to loosen the straps. The thing works fine, it’s just those straps making armpits sore. Not sure what to do about the straps but I’ll work something out.

This device certainly helped to keep my shoulders back while i was wearing it but it was unbearably tight round my ribs. I ordered by waist size as it says, but none of the straps went round my waist. Both straps round my middle ended up very tight around my lower ribs. Fortunately Amazon kindly refunded my money, but be aware the seller online sports support store does not offer returns. I am 5'7" skinny build, and have a waist size of 31" and ordered the Medium if that helps.

It's designed for kids. That's why it seems to run so small. I got medium and I barely fit in it. Other than that a good product! It pulls your shoulders back and help you to maintain( with time) a good posture. Make sure you start slowly with it. First couple of days wear it for 15 minutes, than 20 min, than 30 min.. So your back slowly adjust to that and you won't have pain. And remember, it won't fix your problem! You need to do much more to heal your kyphosis( yoga( there is some specific poses for that), swimming helps too... etc and first of all consult with you doctor

My husband ordered this for me off amazon. I would make a great notre dame mascot with my back problems and slouching. I had high hopes for this but, it didn't live up to them. In order for it to be even moderately effective, you have to have it on so tight you cant breathe. It fits true to sizes listed, but I can't deal with something needing to be so tight over my ribcage/lungs. I had contacted the company inquiring if this product contained latex. They responded rapidly (less than a day) and said it does not but it was possible for materials to have potentially come in contact with latex. I am highly allergic to latex and had NO problems with this brace in terms of reactions. I do not see how it is possible to "hide" this brace under clothing, as parts are rather thick. The padding/brace part that goes under the arms is not uncomfortable and I had no problems with them rubbing. Just wish you could wear this and breathe at the same time, then it wouldn't be so bad.

Overall a good brace but quite uncomfortable especially in shoulder area. Also hard to fit on a very small teenage frame.

I am usually an XS. I read the reviews and saw that the product runs small, so I decided to purchase a medium. Unfortunately, the product is still too small. The straps are so short, they won’t fit across my back (I’m 102 lbs). The sizing is terrible and I can’t return the product! This was a waste of money.

This product is more appropriate for back support rather than a solution to slouching. DO NOT BUY IT FOR SLOUCHING PREVENTION. The fabric is of a good quality. Sometimes the Velcro hurts/pinches and I wish they provided another way to fix the support to the body rather than providing Velcro.
