Good product, wrong color.
I bought the color Sierra. I have had success with NYX's matte lippies in the past because of how creamy and smooth they go on. However, the color never matches the photo. I've only ordered one other lipstick from Amazon and it was a NYX lippie in Tea Rose. The color of that was incredibly darker, just like Sierra. Immediately upon opening, I see how dark the product looks. Very unlike the photo. If you look up photos of Sierra online, it looks super light which frustrates me and confuses me. I can never get a right color from NYX matte lipsticks. I wish they were consistent, and unfortunately this color is a DUD for me. I was looking for a nude but I came out with a near-on RED. Certainly can't wear this to work. Next time I buy a lipstick I'll go to ULTA so I know I can return it if it turns out bad.

My "go to" lipstick for every day
This is my "go to" lipstick for every day. It has a very matte finish and the color is darker, more a peachy-pink brown color than the light pink shown above. It looks great on warm skin tones or someone who is a "Spring" pallet. It's not too peachy-pink and it's not too brown -- it lands in the middle. I do need to re-apply after eating or drinking so it comes off easily.
