Great loud banging speaker
Easy to use, Bluetooth is nice, versatile that you have multiple plugins and can use a mic if you choose. Sounds incredible and real loud. Durable 35 pound speakers that are real loud but sound good.

Light and Loud
I mounted these over my Thump 18" bass bins through the bass bin built in cross over , and damn ! What an excellent sound. These are loud ,powerful ,and clear . I love these , especially at this price point. Any small to medium venue will find these to be more than adequate. I added the Mackie padded covers for storage also. These would make serious Monitors as well. They are wedged to accommodate this. My bandmates love the sound we get out of this system compared to house PA's and passive systems. Easy to set up and even easier to set levels. These are by far my favorite set up I have used so far. Now that being said, I haven't used the systems that are priced out of my league, but I can't imagine for the size of the venues we play , that we could notice a sizable increase of quality sound than we are getting now.

I didn't think I'd like these but boy was I wrong
For starters I'm not a DJ. Sort of but not really. I used these to play music for my kids swim teams, to entertain the crowd while everyone is warming up, and we use them for announcing heats/events. I am however an audiophile. I did some research for non expensive speakers that I could use a few months out of the year, something that sounds good both indoors and out, and something that could be heard when we're talking or playing music. Needless to say these fit the bill. I got two of them, not knowing that one of them was really needed because of the power, but the 2nd speaker is an added bonus for the people a half mile away who want to hear what we're listening to. What I love is that you can connect these via either XLR or 1/4 from a mixer and it will still sound great. They're not really heavy either, the handles on the side help too. They're great when you put them on a dolly and don't move around or fall off. I also like that you don't even need a mixer to connect the speakers to a device and can go directly into them, and then XLR to the output to another speaker. The only con I can think of is the 6ft cables they give you, when have them on a speaker stand. I ended up buying 15ft cables so I don't have a surge protector hanging off of the speaker stand. But that's about it.

Great for being loud
I got a very good deal on these at $340 each, so it might affect my thoughts some. But they're excellent for parties and events where loud music is needed. We had a serious barn banger in August with just 2 of the 4 I bought and people are still talking about how awesome it was in December. They are only slightly less good at low-med volume, due to noise, if you dial it in with good gain staging. Otherwise they can rough at low volumes. That said, they're very clear for the price, and I love that. I ended up keeping 2 in the music studio and putting 2 in our basement bar. They work perfectly for karaoke and bar level music.

Better than a bass combo amp…
Love this product! I use it with a Zoom Bass multi-FX pedal as a preamp and it sounds great. For the wattage and weight (35lbs) you can’t get a dedicated bass rig this good for under a grand. And if you need more volume, you just get two. Plug and play. It is a 700 watt RMS (1400 watts is peak, not what the Class D amp will put out continuously) system biamped internally with 100 watts RMS to the high frequency driver and 600 to the 15 LF. The crossover is at 2kHz. The high frequency driver is horn loaded so the midrange smooths out quite a bit. Really good low-mid frequency response. Probably 60Hz @ 0 dB, which is the second harmonic of the low B on most 5 strings and the frequency you actually HEAR versus feel in bass. Look up psychoacoustics if you want to learn more about that. Can get a bit boom-y with some settings in some rooms, but EQ in my preamp solves that. For reference, on my SVT model, I cut bass by -3, Mids 0, Treble -3 and just roll my tone knob for taste on that. Mid notch is 350 hz or there abouts. This is for a practice room that houses keys, vocal PA, drums, guitars, etc. For a stage, without PA support, I’d use two. With PA, I’d put one down as a monitor for myself. Edit: newer model has more power and is even lighter.
