The Hibiscus flowers (Hibiscus Sabdarifa) are mainly produced in Africa and constitute the primary ingredient of "bissap" (or "carcadé"), a traditional African beverage. Chabiothé is supplied by a certified AB ation in Egypt. The flowers are picked there, dried and then cut into small pieces. The flowers are then repackaged in our workshop in Lyon. Preparation Leave 1 to 2 spoons of Hibiscus per cup to infuse for 4 to 10 minutes, depending on the desired intensity. The water will quickly become ruby-red. You can drink it immediately, or leave it to cool (cold, it’s delicious and very thirst-quenching). The resulting the infusion is tangy. We recommend this recipe: 2 tablespoons in a bottle of water, leave it to chill for one night, then strain and enjoy!
