OX Club Hammer - Sledgehammer with Fibreglass Handle - Forged and Induction Hardened Hammerhead - 2.5 lb / 1.1 kg

This is my second purchase from this brand, and they are quickly becoming my go-to for consistent DIY quality. For the price point, you might expect some compromises, but this lump hammer feels like a much more expensive professional tool. ​Performance in Action: I’ve been using this hammer alongside a chisel to strip back heavy lime plaster to the original brickwork. I spent two hours straight on this task, and the design of the handle is clearly built for comfort; I didn't experience any of the hand cramping you often get with poorly balanced hammers during long sessions. ​Key Features: ​Grip Quality: The grip is excellent and, crucially, doesn't get slippery even when your hands get sweaty from heavy work. ​Solid Construction: It feels very well-balanced in the hand. I don't have that common worry about the head coming loose or flying off, which is a genuine concern with some budget tools. ​Verdict: I haven’t found a single issue yet. This brand seems to be delivering high-quality tools that are perfect for serious DIY projects without the trade price tag.

An excellent little lump hammer !!! This range of tools I find are very affordable but yet still great quality. This hammer goes with my other collection of Ox tools I've bought aswell,they all look good together and I like the blue colour on them !!! It's balanced well and you can give it a good smash too. It's just the right weight and size for me to stamp my steel workpieces. The handle is also comfortable,so it does the job it's designed for,I can't fault it,top hammer !!! I'm really happy with mine. Thanks !!!

Great hammer and price but feels slightly unbalanced due to the light handle, more than suitable for purpose though.

Used it for chiselling, breaking up slabs, and general site thumping—this hammer’s got bite. Head’s solid steel, no dents or chips after repeated use. Fibreglass handle’s tough, absorbs shock well, and the grip stays firm even with sweaty hands or gloves. Weight’s spot-on—2.5 lb gives enough punch without being a wrist killer. Multi-colour finish helps it stand out in the kit pile. If you want a club hammer that’s ready for graft and doesn’t flinch under pressure, this OX is a proper workhorse.

Not used it yet but seems ok

Had it for years now and used for everything from basjhing out large bolts to chiselling concrete of bricks. Robust, seems to to get rusty. Needs little care at all.

excellent tool

Solid and easy to use, the head is a decent heft and easy to break things up, including wood/brick/stone, the grip on the handle is solid, it is very much what you see in ther picture is what you get. Was delivered quickly and I think a reasonable price, 5 stars from me, can't fault it!

Der hammer ist wie aus einem einzigen Stück gemacht! OX Tools sind obere Premium Klasse wie zb.Beta.. Selbst wenn die Hände schwitzen, der Hammer mit seinen tollen Stiel bleibt griff-fest!
