My First Superman Book: Touch and Feel

I bought this book as a Christmas present for my son who will turn three years old in the New Year. He has recently developed a healthy interest in Superman and this is a good introduction to the world of Superman books and comics. I grew up enjoying the films and comics and believe that Superman provides a great role model over modern day cartoons and characters such as Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol. The book itself is well made, the art work is bright and vibrant and each page has bold and clear text and a lovely touch and feel part. I know my son will love this book over a lot of his other presents and. Ant wait to sit and read it with him on Christmas Day!

A must have for any budding superman fan, my 3 year old loves this book & have to say I was very impressed with it myself. It has touchy feely & pull out pages. Great to finally find something for a young superman fan!

Got this for my 1year old son he loved it almost as much as me, it's a must buy for any comic geek parent who wants to pass on the joy of comics to there children.

This is such a cool book. I bought this for my 3 year old son who is fascinated by superman even though he has never seen the cartoons or the films! The book is robust and he enjoys reading it very much.

I got this and the associated Batman book for my little 3 year old nephew and he loved it. He is really into Superman and Batman thanks to his Dad.

Lovely first book

Very sturdy, colourful and (in some) interactive, have brought the whole collection for my son for Christmas

The book arrived today and I am quite happy with it. It is unusual and I spent a lot of time trying to find something like this.. I like the touch and feel feature where the child can feel Superman's muscles, silky cape and watch the fortress of solitute sparkle which I can imagine will be very entertaining for a child. I do have a few concerns however. There are a couple of pull out pages, which in itself is a great feature, but they are a bit difficult to pull out, so I wonder if there will be a risk of ripping if pulled by an impatient child. In addition there is a page where you can feel and "pet" Superman's dog, but while trying it a few bits of the fur already came off, so I guess only time can tell how durable this book will turn out to be.

My husband has been really into all the super heroes ever since he was little, as I'm sure a lot of boys were and probably still are. I really knew nothing about them until I decided to purchase my two year old a couple. I gave them to her for Christmas and she really took to them. We both really enjoy reading them together and have both learned so many name of superheroes and what their powers are. But what I love most about these books, is that its not really all about the superhero, they teach lessons, and they teach things like colors, shapes, words, counting, and body parts. They really are wonderful books - I let my daughter choose one of these books every night and we read together at bed time. My toddler and I started collecting all of them and we both get really excited when they arrive in the mail. My daughter started to think that the mail man was just giving them to us as gifts, as if I didn't have to buy them lol. We have collected every one and they are releasing another one next week which we have already pre ordered and are super excited about. The books are a great price and arrive quickly. I hope they continue to make these books because we really love collecting them and enjoy reading them. She is even starting to remember the words and "reads" along with me!
