This cap fits my Amazon Pharmacy bottles perfectly. (It does pop loose on the included bottles when overtightened, so just recycle them.) The timer works every time, no problems yet. One of the timer caps was blanking out, but I replaced the battery and it worked. So nice to finally have a foolproof way to check whether I took my pill today without remembering to write it down, or filling a daily pill dispenser every week. Just open and close the bottle as usual, it remembers for you.

A godsend for forgetful people like myself. -They're ready to use right out of the bag - batteries included -Works like an average prescription pill bottle: push down and rotate to open -Feels sturdy enough to last me a few years. Timer does NOT get affected even after I shoved it into my travel bag and hopped on a plane. -Timer first starts counting in seconds after you put the lid on. It will convert to hours/minutes once it reaches 1 minute. It only turns off if you haven't opened it in 7 days. -Timer is easy to read and doesn't emit any kind of glow. -A little tough to fit a full 90 day supply into it with my chunkier pills... When it's too full the timer may not work correctly, as the cap needs to rest normally in order for the timer to start. -Comes with sticker labels you can fill out yourself, but I find it easy enough to just peel the ones off my original prescription bottles and stick them onto this one. It's easy to peel those stickers off after, too.

A number of years ago I received a free lid from my pharmacy that would count from the last time the lid was removed and I’ve been searching for a replacement for it after it was accidentally thrown away. I stumbled upon these and (despite the reviews) I thought I would gamble and hope to win. I didn’t win, but I didn’t lose completely. Out of the 2 lids I received, only 1 of the lids worked, the other is non-functional. I have not tried replacing the battery because it’s brand new and should function. The bottles that came with the lids are complete trash. When the lid is on the bottle you can continue to turn the lid - there is no way to completely tighten the two together, the lid just pops loose again. Luckily, one of my prescription bottles fits the working lid perfectly and it can be fully tightened and stays in place. Did I pay way too much for a single lid? Absolutely! Does this single lid help me immediately in the short term? Also Absolutely!

I already had a set of 3 with colors blue, green and purple and I wanted red and yellow to help expand my collection so to seperate different pills color coded. But I received an orange cap and another blue cap with this order. Aside from a return, I don't see any way to contact the company through Amazon to discuss and get the right color caps sent. Not worth the hassle. Batteries need changed once a year or so. Cheap and easy to install new battery with micro screw driver after popping off the spring loaded plastic inside. They do get finicky sometimes and need adjusted a few times to lock in well so not to shut off or reset themselves. Harder plastic would possibly solve this as it seems to happen from deformation when under certain amounts of pressure from tightening. Bummed about the wrong colors though. Ended up just giving one of them away to a friend which was a repeat color. Not risking ordering a second kit and have it show up with the wrong colors again.

This should be at least four and a half stars. The bad reviews are not deserved. For the price, the two bottles are great. My wife kept forgetting when she took her last pain pill. That was dangerous. I “invected” this product in my mind but was sure one already existed and searched Amazon. Eureka! These little gems are great. I’ll explain what some thought it was bad. The timer is the lid for the provided bottle. Don’t expect to use the bottle your pills come in. You can label it if you need. Just put some of the pills in this one and store the rest in the original bottle. The lid automatically resets the time to zero any time you open the bottle even if you’re just checking how many pills are in it. Solution: Note how much time is one the lid before you open it. Then add that time to the new amount as it’s going. Not a big deal. These are so handy. Now we know when she can take the next dose. Our problem is solved!

I have bought these bottles twice now because I have found that they are the best way I can remember to take my daily meds. They work instantly whenever you screw the cap back on which I love. I will say, the last time I bought a package of these bottles, both of them weren't working when I first pulled them out of the package, but I was able to access the battery in the lid and jiggling it around a little fixed the issue. I will probably end up buying more of these in the future.

The caps don't fit on the bottles from my pharmacy, and using the bottles they came with the lids don't fit well, so despite the instructions to close tightly and press down to open, you can't tighten them very much before the threads slip, and the child-proofing is non-existant. As far as the timer, 1 of the 4 I ordered came as a dud, and 1 works sometimes. Two work fine. I'll be looking for another solution.

The timer mechanism needs to be pushed down to make contact with the mechanism (the white piece under the sticker at top) that detects when the bottle is closed. Unfortunately that piece is held in by friction and a sticker. You just remove the sticker to replace the battery, so now it’s just held in by friction and that’s not enough to keep it in the correct place. The idea is amazing. I still use these, but it’s frustrating that this design defect still exists after years and that no competitor has sought to innovate and improve the design.
