New Nintendo 2DS XL

I’m absolutely over the moon with this 2DS XL. Not only was it on prime, but the quality of the DS was fantastic. A few tiny case marks and bottom screen marks, but absolutely nothing that wouldn’t be expected in a used product. Obviously each may differ, but mine came in a very nice, new looking hard zip case with a good quality long charging cable and a 4gb micro sd card. I’ve played it for a few days now and it runs flawlessly. Honestly couldn’t pick any fault at all.

This is such a good console! I got it as a Christmas present for myself and as a up-grade from my Original 3DS XL which is starting to feel its age. I'm so impressed with it! The black and blue colour combo is stunning and compliments itself really well. The screens are really clear and really good quality and speed wise...its really fast! I have currently tested out Mario Kart 7, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Nintendogs and Cats and Ultra Moon, Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon X. All of these games load up nice and quick, especially Ultra Moon (it doesn't have that stupid 'please wait' message when you close the game down anymore!). The sound is also of really good quality, even on DS games. The buttons are really responsive and I love the fact that both the game cartridge and the micro SD card are protected at the bottom of the system and easy to get to (no worries about accidentally popping out my game or dreading taking the system apart to get to the SD card anymore - should I need to). I haven't got any games that require the C-stick so I haven't been able to test that out yet. I also really like the fact that you have to switch on the internet of the system within the system itself and not on a slider. The delivery was also nice and quick. All in all, I'm really happy with my new system and have already done the system transfer from my Original 3DS XL and have made my 2DS XL my main console. Almost forgot to mention, it's really comfortable to hold. I have small hands myself and my previous console would start to feel really heavy after a few hours of gaming. The 2DS XL fits really nicely into my small hands and definitely seems to be lighter than the Original 3DS XL.

Haven't owned a Nintendo console for nearly ten years. The 3ds got released and I didn't really think anything of it. Owned a vita and was very happy with it. The only thing I missed was Monster Hunter since it jumped ship from Sony to Nintendo. I decided, at long last, to buy myself this new model. Cheaper, lighter and with all the important capabilities of the new 3ds, it looked like a good deal. I've actually been very impressed with it. I knew going in (and you should too) that the screens in the system were likely to be of a lower quality to what I'm used to with phones these days, and knowing Nintendo, likely TN. I knew it might have a lower build quality to the other main 3ds'. I knew it might have little quirks or faults. But all in all, I've very much enjoyed owning it. The system itself has no major faults and seems to be put together very well, despite being made of possibly worse materials. However this means it is much lighter, and I found this very useful for long sessions. The face buttons are clicky and tactile, the touchpad is very responsive, it's just a very good gaming experience. The screens are better than I expected, with ample brightness, and after having played a lot of hours on it, good enough resolution. Of course it looks a little blocky at times, but the trade-off is better battery life and performance overall. The operating system is light and easy to use and is integrated fantastically well. Hopping from game to web browser for instance takes seconds. However you do have to close games when other larger applications are opened, unlike your modern smartphone. But that's to be expected. All in all I've had a brilliant time with this system. It's a budget version of a 3ds XL, and that was exactly what I was after. It does everything it should and is the best bare basics for a good experience. If you've never played a 3ds before, I would probably say to get this as it's a solid purchase. Not the best 3ds money can buy, but certainly the best entry into the family.

Todo correcto, el envío rápido y la consola que llegó en un estado perfecto. El cargador es inglés, así que deberíais tener a mano otro cargador de la consola o bien un adaptador. Quitando ello, nada distinto en relación con la otra new 2ds XL adquirida tiempo atrás en España. Compra recomendable.

Nice version of the New 2DSXL and was received in excellent condition. HOWEVER, I saw nothing in the description to indicate that it was a UK only console. You cannot set the times to anywhere in the Western Hemisphere nor will it play NA 3DS games. It will, however, play DS games just fine as will the Japanese consoles. This doesn't pose a problem for me since I possess 30+ other DS type consoles. If it had been my only DS, I would have returned it immediately.
