Product Description ------------------- This NRS care M66739 Compact Easy Rollator Wheeled Walking Aid - FOLDABLE is a distinct and compact rollator designed to provide extra support to those who need it when walking. If you have mobility problems, are a little unsteady on your feet or tire easily when walking, a rollator will help you to continue to get around and do the things that you want to do. The compact easy rollator is ideal for use either inside or outside the home and is designed for easy transportation and storage. The rollator folds in half easily by pulling the seat up. The frame then folds in half again to an even more compact size by simply unclipping a lever on either side of the frame. The rollator is also lightweight at only 8kg (17¾lb) making it ideal for travel, either in a car on or public transport. It will easily fit into the boot of a car or in a cupboard at home. The compact easy rollator has a strong aluminium frame, giving it a silver colour and is easily height adjustable. The height is adjustable from 805 millimetres (31.5-inch) to 935 millimetres (37-inch) ensuring the correct height and position for the user. The compact easy rollator has numerous safety features. It has moulded, easy to grip handles and a loop brake system. The front wheels swivel and there are reflectors above the front wheels for safety in low light situations. A black mesh seat and backrest are incorporated within the design of the rollator to allow the user to stop for a rest whenever required whilst out and about, whether that is when queuing in shops, waiting for a bus or whilst stopped to talk to friends or family. A black removable bag is supplied, so this can be removed in the home, but easily put back on to the rollator for shopping trips, meaning that heavy items do not have to be carried. The bag supplied with the rollator has a maximum safe load of 5kg (11 lb). The compact easy rollator is only suitable for users weighing up to 136 kg (21 stone). The rollator is supplied fully assembled, it just needs to be unfolded from the box, and the bag attached to be ready to use. To attach the bag, work the bag loops (attached to the triangular clips on the bag) onto the bars at either side of the seat at the front of the rollator. Then tuck the bag loops under the small clips you will find on the bars, so that the bag does not slide off. Is this rollator a suitable size for you? Here’s how to measure the handgrip height you need: * Get a friend ready to measure you (if you measure yourself, you may lean sideways and get the wrong measurement!) * Wearing your normal shoes, stand facing forward, with feet shoulder width apart. * With your arms held naturally at your sides, measure from the floor to your wrist.
