This was not due to misuse, excessive weight, rough handling, or commercial use—it was used exactly as intended in a normal home environment. What is even more frustrating is the complete lack of support after the failure. Despite the product being practically brand new, I have been given the runaround while trying to get the issue resolved. Amazon informed me that the item is not eligible for return, leaving me to chase the seller and support teams instead of receiving a straightforward resolution. For a product that costs approximately ₹1,700, I expected far better quality and reliability. A stool should not fail after a single use. The fact that such a critical component broke immediately suggests poor materials, poor quality control, or both. I purchased this product expecting convenience and durability. Instead, I received an overpriced item that became useless almost instantly and has resulted in unnecessary time and frustration trying to obtain support. I would strongly advise potential buyers to think twice before purchasing this product. One way it is good that steps won't rust and is light weight. Durability is under question.
