Petstages Cool Teething Stick Dog Toy

This teething stick is brilliant for puppy’s , simply soak in water and stick in the freezer

I bought this for my westie, female, pup. She loves the texture and sounds it makes. This is not a 5 star for two reasons. 1. It doesn't stay cool for very long after it has been taken out of the freezer. 2. Although this is a teething toy, her puppy teeth did puncture the material, if only once.

Unsure weather it was a mistake or a gift but either way they’re brill for the price. Now I have both in freezer and can rotate and my girl is crying often and it’s just her front I can see coming through at the moment. Hoping these see my German shepherd puppy through the worst of it. Many thanks to the seller. The colours and tassels get her attention then once she feels the cold on her gums she kinda just melts into herself you can see the relief in her little eyes. It survived the first chew session so that’s also a win! One minor complaint is the brand could benefit by offering larger sizes for larger breeds but that’s it. A+

The toy is a great teething toy, however the shorter tastes on the end aren’t very durable and my puppy easily pulled some of them off so I ended up cutting them off, so he didn’t swallow them. There is also the issue that the nylon material makes it difficult to soak the toy which means it doesn’t always freeze very well and when it does it defrosts and warms up very quickly. But it’s great while it’s frozen

When I unpacked the puppy teething and cooling toy it was much smaller than I was expecting. In the companies defence I did not check the dimensions so that was down to me. I soaked and froze the toy last night ready to give to our 9 week teething French Bulldog puppy. I have the toy to our puppy at first he was not interested but eventually he started to hold it in his mouth and seemed to get some comfort from it. I picked it up to re soak and freeze and noticed the seam had started to come apart and at just under £14 is very poor value for money. I use Amazon almost every day as my partner is disabled and so Amazon is a fantastic way for us to shop without having to go out with the electric wheelchair - we also live in a country village. I ordered a free replacement in the hope a new one may be better quality and the one we have was a one off sub standard toy. In order to take it back to the Post Office I need to get my partner into the car and take our 9 week old puppy with us. I like that we don’t need to pack it up or pay to return it - my issue is that it makes life more complicated to have to take a disabled person out just to do this - life is hard as a full time carer and it would be nice if there was a collection from home option (but only given 3 different drop-off choices). If it happens again - I will just ask for my money back. A very disappointing toy and experience..!!

It is easy to wipe clean and my puppy hasn’t managed to inflict any damage (yet?). However, that may be a simple case of him favouring his Nylabone Teething Pacifier over this one. In hindsight, I wouldn't buy it. Positive: - Fun design - Interesting crinkle texture - Easy to clean Negative: - Freezing makes little difference

brought as a gift works well frozen

Bought two for rotation for a puppy golden retriever with very sharp teeth that breaks skin. I freeze them and she loves them. Yes, they don't stay frozen for long which is why I rotate these and bring them out occasionally. She hasn't broken through them as yet but even if she did, it wa still worth the time to let my hands, arms, legs and toes have a break. Will buy again when required.

Nice toy

Really happy we got this. When our puppy started teething he loved getting this toy from the freezer, especially as the hot months came. He is currently 5 1/2 months old and is still loving chewing on this toy, which has survived for 3 months already! :)

Contre toute attente il s’agit du jouet préféré de mon chat. C’est d’ailleurs l’un des seuls avec lequel il veut jouer. Attention toute fois à ne pas le laisser sans surveillance (c’est écrit sur la boîte en plus), mon chat a tendance à le dévorer si je le laisse faire.
