My daughter is 5 she loves these books she reads them pretty proficient once you teach your child how to blend sounds & once they learn what each letter sounds like please purchase beginner reader sets because it’ll get them comfortable and used to reading and sounding out words on their own! She’s learning other words as well through memory from these books great investment

Perfect for new readers
PERFECT for my beginning reader. so many of these beginning reader books have too many concepts for a very new reader to be reading independently. These ones introduce them slowly and use plenty of repetition to help a child memorize sound blending!

Very good for my reception level child
My daughter is in reception class and we use these as supplementary reading for the phonics books she brings home from school. I would say they’re a good level for her, she’s in the top group for phonics in her class and does tend to fly through books. The pictures are also very useful to support what the words are. The stories are interesting and funny.

Simple, repetitive, cute and funny! Highly recommend!
Great first readers! My son is on book five and he’s gaining confidence in reading. He looks forward to it! I’ve been hiding them and only giving one at a time until he masters it. I use these to teach my son how to read English since he goes to French school all day. The stories are simple, repetitive, cute and funny. I highly recommend! The only downside is that I received two book 9s and no book 3. I could have sent them back but I didn’t bother, as each book is only about 8 pages. I plan to buy the whole series.

Wonderful experience for child, parents and teacher
Colourful and fun. Sentences are wonderful, repetition throughout to build confidence, then one piece of new vocabulary. Excellent for dyslexia or children learning to blend.
