The Durston DRM Agile C130 Manual Combination Jewellers Rolling Mill is a new, lightweight version of Durston's standard range. It's lighter due to a thinner frame and the introduction of a T-Bar in the place of the usual hand wheel but you'll still get the guaranteed Durston strength. In addition, we've combined more features in a smaller space onto the rollers on the C130. We've packed in 11 square grooves, 5 half round grooves and there's still 60mm of flat space for sheet. These space saving features are all included with the usual induction hardened 64RC rollers. Specification - Roller Length: 130mm - Roller Diameter Ø: 60mm - Sheet thickness: Up to 6.0mm - Max. Both flat plate & rollers are used to reduce the gauge In a gradual process. Metal should be annealed between each stage of rolling. The distance between the rollers is reduced and d by turning a wheel on top of the mill. On the wheel is a dial gauge for precise rolling gap measurement. The rollers are made of a high quality steel. Rollers should be kept clean and mark free - marks on the roller will be transferred to the metals surface as it is rolled through the plates. The mill should be secured to a surface, preferably a by a free standing mill stand.
