Review: Fits wide feet perfectly - Nice design and colour, very light and comfortable, but most of all it fits wide feet like mine, I always had this pain wearing normal trainers after a couple of hours, but with this one I had it on all day no pain. It also goes really well with bootcut jeans. Review: Very good shoes for summer. - Update: had to remove one start (though maybe it worth to remove even two). Unfortunately, as it was noted here already the upper fabric started to tear down in the toe are. Very disappointed cause I loved the these shoes... Had to return them just after 3 month of walking. desertcart offered full refund, Kudos desertcart. Love this shoes - really comfortable for summer walks or run. Use them everyday and occasionally for running. Usually fill too warm and sweat in sinkers, but ventilation in this shoes is very good. The main point for me is very natural form of footbed - it's wide in toe box and works very well for people with wide toe box. Highly recommended. Don't know for how they will last. So far no problem. Update: And yes, as somebody mentioned, they squeak, actual, in my case, only right one squeaks, but you can only notice it walking in quiet environment.

Abysmal quality
The look is great and the shoe was light. Unfortunately the fabric on the outside of the shoes dissintegrating after a mere 2 weeks just like in another reviewers photographs. Between this and my previous other merrel barefoot purchase which was also returned, that time because the sole started coming away, I've lost all faith in the brand and will not be wasting my time or money on them again. Thank goodness for amazon customer support to back you when buying a duff item like this shoe. Just buy some vivos and save yourself the bother!

Looks great but uncomfortable 😩
I love Merrell shoes as they’re normally really comfortable and supportive. However these trainers looked great but were uncomfortable. The instep on the left foot dug in so I had to send them back. Most likely a factory error but I couldn’t walk in them.

Nice while they last
Good: Very comfortable, look stylish Bad: material started to come apart after 6 months. Merrell should last longer

This shoe is just right- nice and light
I have been running in 'minimal' shoes for a few years and was looking for something just a bit more substantial for stepping up to marathon distance. I still wanted a light shoe with zero drop so that it wouldn't affect my technique or slow me down. This shoe is just right- nice and light, flat and fast. The sole is at home on road or light trail. Good price too.

Excellent walking shoe
Excellent and very comfortable and not too hot when walking which is a problem for me with all trainers, have only worn them a couple of times. Material is very thin so time will tell if it lasts. Good price too. UPDATE have worn these for over 6 months and they are starting to come apart just like other reviewer's have stated . What a pity because these are so comfy for walking and running. Why cant they make them stronger . I got these for €30 approx so the current price of £72 is ridiculous . great shoe but don't last.

Great Shoes
I’ve had two pairs; the first started to rip at the sides as you might have seen with the other reviewers. Still, they lasted a very long time and I wore them daily, ran in them, hiked, and did some trail running. They have excellent grip and fit well. My second pair has not ripped like the first pair did. I really like the fit and look of these shoes.

GRACIAS MERRELL

Very pleased, and I love these shoes on soft forest trails
Buying outdoor shoes online has always been somewhat problematic for me, because I'm somewhere between a 11.5 and a 12, and depending upon the maker, I'm clearly one or the other. The nice thing about Merrell shoes is that I'm always an 11.5, and I love that type of consistency. Same with Brooks running shoes...I'm always a 12. In this case, I loved the shoe as soon as I put it on. If you have high arches, you'll love these shoes, as the arch is pronounced (like many Merrell outdoor shoes), and they fit snugly through the heel and arch, with a nice wide, comfortable toe box. I run both pavement and trails, and I love my Brooks Adrenaline GTS shoes with a passion, but I really love a front-striking shoe like the Bare Access for trails. I have tried the Bare Access Flex on both hard surfaces and trails, and really didn't like them on the pavement. However, for the deep forest trails I run in northwestern Pennsylvania, I found these shoes to be pretty amazing. Most of the trails I run are dirt mixed with dead leaf compost, which makes for an excellent padded trail surface. With the Bare Access flex, I feel like I'm running barefoot, and the minimalist sole feels wonderful. If you're looking for a light, snug trail shoe with a very wide and comfortable toe box, this is your shoe. You may or may not like them on pavement, as there are better options. And if you have a low arch, you may not like these shoes at all, as it is very pronounced and may wreak havoc on your feet rather than provide comfort. Overall, these are an excellent fit for me personally (because I have high arches), and I love them on soft forest trails, as they almost feel like moccasins. Typical Merrell quality and design makes for an excellent shoe for the money.
