can a mirror be used with this?

Yes! My brother uses a mirror. The only problem was the button on the leg part that wasn't working right. He had to use a pair of pliers. He said it was comfortable.

Soooo how do you clean it?

The pillow part can slide off of the stand. I actually draped mine with a pillow case around the opening because I wasn't sure what condition it would be in if I put it in the washer machine. So I actually never washed mine. I also covered it because it is covered with a velvety type material that made me warm.
