I have changed 4 pool pumps in the past 18 years. This pump was perfect. I did not have to do anything except take the old one off, install this one in. Even the wiring was done right. Just had to plug it in. It has good pressure, works perfectly and hopefully will last at least 5 years. Thnx for a good product at reasonable price.

My pool pump died so I chose this one to replace it. Great choice! Easy to install, great price, and works excellent. What more could you ask for?

This pump is advertised to pump as much volume of water as a WhisperFlo WFE-8 2hp. But it didn't have enough pressure to even work my automatic pool cleaner (kreepy Krauly) and feed recirculating water to the spa. VERY WEAK! And yes, I did hook everything up right. I have replaced pumps on my system several times over the last 20 years. Whisperflos have always performed well. I just thought I could save some money here. Waste of time! I had to completely remove it and send it back, then get a new pump motor for my WhisperFlo and replumb it. Good news (if there is any) is that the seller accepted the return.

the pool pump worked great for the first year. one month after the warranty ran out the pump started leaking through the seal through the motor.

We got our pump a week ago.... easy to install, quieter than our last one, and much more power! Highly recommend it! Love it!

So far the pump is running good. Easy setup except that I had to change my previous pvc connection to fit. It also would be nice if this was a 2 speed pump.

What I liked the packaging, how quiet it is and the weight of the pump seemed substantial and it was a direct replacement for my noisy 1.5hp What I didn't like it stopped working correctly on day 5 I think. Herses what I know prior to day 5 I used both my skimmer and my little shark vacuum. My pool was turning very green when I installed by day 4 it was crystal clear day 2 I could see my little shark just zipping along a lot faster than it ever did with my 1.5 never getting hung up like it use to. By this time my filter cartridge gauge was telling me it was time to clean as it was pushing above 15psi normally don't let it go much over 12 before cleaning it. Long story short cleaned it, reinstalled turned the pump on and I am less at zero something not right when I realized that yes the pump was running and still very quiet it was putting out very little pressure compared to when it was first installed when it could create a whirlpool in a 24' pool. So I am returning today BUT I AM GETTING a replacement as this had to be a fluke this thing just was beautiful for the first 4 days. If it happens again and I write about it BE SURE TO PAY ATTENTION to cause the second review will tell you don't buy this pump. Update 10/8 changed my mind about reordering the same pump still have not heard any words back from the company selling them but luckily I bought from Amazon and they took it back anyway. Searched Amazon for 2HP pumps and found one used a USED Pentair Sta-Rite N1-2A HP SuperMax $206. reg 459. I mean wow what a pump just installed today super quiet an super powerful and NAME BRA, so don't be afraid of used same warranty and return policy just less money and in this case a lot less

I bought this pump for my Koi pond. It has ran for a year without any issues. This is about 1/2 the price of similar pumps. Great product.

Seems to work great. Fast delivery. Easy installation. Update. After one season 3 and a half months. Machine stopped working. I was exactly 3 weeks past the year because it was cooler I was late opening pool. It was stored correctly inside was house and won’t work. I emailed the company and they told me I was out of luck. Try to fix it myself. Warning the fan inside is plastic. It won’t last. Save your money. I guess in the companies eyes you get what you pay for. So if you want something to last longer than one seaseon. Please go elsewhere If I could give it a zero I would!!

Good pump. I don't need anything fancy like multiple speeds, just a good working pump and this was good value for money
