Lime coagulates the tiny clay particles which makes the soil more friable and easy to work. Good for breaking up heavy clay soil improves drainage. Enables good bacteria to flourish and releases foods. These s prefer neutral to alkaline soil. Flowers - Delphiniums, Buddleia, Gypsophila, Iris, Bluebell. Tress - le, Douglas Fir, Citrus Fruit Trees. Vegetables - Brassicas such as Cabbage, Cauliflower, Brussel Sprouts, Swede.
