I have searched high and low for socks to fit my son with his size 14 monstrosity! Great socks and he likes how comfortable they are, just wished they were abit cheaper

I'm not diabetic, but for some reason just struggle with normal socks (to the point where I had to budget 5-10 minutes each morning before work to put my socks on). I just really struggle to get normal socks around my ankles. These are lovely and stretchy, and I have no problem at all putting them on. I did note that I bought two packs and after putting some from the first pack through the wash, they felt a little tighter than they first did. I compared to the fresh pack and they had shrunk a bit after first wash. I'm not sure if this is normal/expected or not. But even after the slight shrinkage, they still are easy to put on and fit fine still.

Over the years I have gradually gained weight, and over that time I’ve noticed that socks have always been getting a little less comfy than they used to be. After starting to notice that my legs were always red and itchy from wearing tight socks, most likely due to heat and sweat, I stumbled upon these extra wide ones. I have size 12 feet, so ordered the 11-14 size socks. I was concerned they might be loose and keep falling down, especially after reading that most people bought them for swollen feet or to wear over bandages, etc.. I don’t have any of those issues, I’m just fat with thick calves. I needn’t have worried, though. As soon as I received them I put a pair on and they were perfect. They were so easy to put on, were nice and comfortable, but most importantly they were really easy to pull up without any strong elastic to keep them digging into me. Over the last few days that I’ve had them, I have noticed my legs are much more comfortable without any itching or sweating. The red marks I previously had have nearly completely gone. I was so impressed that I instantly bought another 6 pairs. Some are talking about them shrinking in the wash. I washed 3 pairs today on a 14 minute quick wash at 20c. They came out absolutely fine. The packaging is a little strange as it says hand wash only, but then says they are machine washable at 40c. I’ll stick to a quick wash at 20c and let them air dry. No issues with shrinking that I’ve noticed. Very pleased with these and would highly recommend them to anyone who finds regular socks too tight or restrictive.

The design of these has changed. They used to be brilliant, very stretchy and ribbed. They are no longer ribbed and are smaller and tighter. No good now.

I've bought a couple of packs of these, and results are mixed. I've found the pairs that are made well are a good fit, comfortable and wash OK. However, one or two socks in each pack was very tight around the leg and really not usable. So, you effectively get two pairs per pack instead of three.

I have quite wide size 14 feet and although I don’t have diabetes or oedema I have problems with most socks being too tight around the ankle and calf that they leave deep impressions and that’s restricting the blood flow to my feet which causes even more swelling on ankle and calf. So after trying another quality but expensive brand I decided to buy this as I was fed up of paying £15 for two pairs of socks and with these being half the price for three pairs it made sense to at least give them a go. When they turned up, I was pleasantly surprised how wide they stretched, and so the following day I decided to try to a pair on, They fitted perfectly and allowed plenty of room around my ankle and calf without restricting my foot and are exceedingly comfortable the only real difference between these and my previous brand are these are not as padded on the sole but non the less they are still super comfy. I will certainly be changing over to these from now on as and when I need to buy more socks and I really can’t recommend them enough for anyone else who also has big feet or suffer with hugging socks.
