Something Special - Bumper Box Set [DVD]

If your child enjoys Mr Tumble's antics, this great value set of DVDs will give them hours of enjoyment. Not only that, but they will develop a verbal and sign vocabulary covering a whole range of everyday situations. We used this set in a Nursery where a high percentage of the children have English as an additional language, and a number of English-speaking children have language and communication delay. They love the structured format of the programme, the repetitive language, and the clear demonstration of signs for new words. as the adult who usually sits with them while they watch it, I have to say that I enjoy it too, though what does it for me is the obvious rapport between Justin and his delightfully happy friends - all children with special needs. Thanks Justin - I would recommend these DVDs to all young children, whatever their ability level.

I bought this DVD for my two year old son because he absolutely loves Mr. Tumble! Although I do not let him watch too much T.V. I make an exception when it comes to this due to its educational qualities. Since purchasing it, it has become his favorite DVD and he always asks for it. This DVD teaches children about household pets, farm yard animals, sea creatures and jungle animals. My two year old particularly loves the sign language involved in it and has picked it up incredibly quickly and it has almost become second nature to him, which has helped me to understand him better because as his speech is not yet that well developed he can also sign to me the word he is trying to say. The downside of this DVD is the price, but I would be prepared to pay the same amount for other 'Mr. Tumble' titles if they are as good as this one. So if your child is a fan, don't be put off by the price, I would whole heartedly recommend it!

I am a mother of a child with autism who is non verbal...He always enjoys watching Justin on TV... so buying him the DVD has made him so happy, he can wach it whenever he wants and it is easier for him to learn the signs that way... it even has improved his communication skills, and he started to say few words... even his 3 yrs old brother is joining in and he learnt all the signs... it is fun for every body ... I highly recommended them all... believe me ... as a mother and as a professional (i have PhD in Education/ABA)... It is the best.... you wont regret buying it... I bought all the series....

My 2 year old son has been thrilled by these dvds, we have had Mr Tumble on quite a lot since they arrived. They are really good value for money compared to buying the dvds separate. The only issue I have is that the exploring with Mr Tumble dvd does not work. The disc loads but you cannot select play on the main menu. Amazon promptly exchanged the first set of dvds but the same fault existed in the 2nd set also. It must just be a fault in this batch of dvds which is a shame.

Whilst it is fair to say we haven’t sat and watched all discs yet... my grand daughter has already been thoroughly entertained by the first disc played (almost transfixed, in fact!) and so this is already proving a great addition to her playtime visits at grannies! Thank you. Would recommend.

I purchased this for my grand daughter, she will be 2years old feb 2015 , Turkish being her first language it has improved her English tremendously . I am very pleased with this DVD very educational and entertaining she would watch it all day if we would let her,even her 10 month old sister loves to watch it. very good value.

Kids.love them watch over and over

Bought this 3 times. Once for me, and twice for my friends. Their kids love Mr Tumble and I thought the pre-school would enjoy it too. It's a hit, plenty to chose from! 8 disks with a wide range of episodes on each. My niece also can't get enough. Great for teaching signs too for makaton users.
