Had the smaller version of this pipe wrench and the larger version but nothing of this size(12”} so it did not fail to deliver the quality I expected. Strong brand for many years. You can’t go wrong with this product.

Cant go wrong with ridgid. Have multiple in my work tool box. Not light weight like the aluminum ones but this isnt to heavy to use.

Una buena llave de plomero para atornillar tuberías de cobre de agua y otros tornillos o tuercas de grandes dimensiones. Para el trabajo en casa es necesario contar con dos o tres tamaños para las distintas tuberías que se tengan. Para una tubería de 1/2 pulgada una llave de 10" debe ser suficiente; y para tuberías de 1 pulgada, por ejemplo, del tanque de agua a la bomba de agua, una llave grande de 14" es mejor. Ya que es ajustable, una llave grande sirve para tuberías pequeñas también, sin embargo, en muchas ocasiones no hay espacio suficiente para girar la llave grande, entonces usar una llave más pequeña es más conveniente. Una llave Stillson también sirve para atornillar las salidas de agua de una bañera o llave mezcladora de lavabo. Para evitar dañar el acabado de cromo reluciente de las llaves es necesario colocar una toalla suave entre los dientes de la llave de plomero. Así se transmite la fuerza, pero no se raya el acabado.
