Light scent, easy to hang it thru-out the closet
They are just like the ones we used in Europe.

Really well created
I really like this pack of cedar planks and cedar spray. The pack comes with hooks as well that neatly and easily screw into the plank so you can hang them if you wish. The planks came out of the box smelling very fresh and strong and I liked that. And when, over time, the smell begins to fade (apparently you can sand too to bring out the scent again) I can just spray the planks with the natural cedar spray. Highly recommend.

Horrible Smell
Bought these for closets as moth balls are toxic and traps take up too much space, and I love the smell of REAL cedar, which I am not sure these are. They came quick and the cedar planks are real cedar and are nice enough; came with nice metal hangers you have to screw into the cedar planks (easy enough). But the planks did not have the strongest or best cedar aroma for one and the spray they came with was the MOST nauseating smell ever! It was as bad or worse than moth ball smell (do they even sell those anymore? ick), it was the weirdest, strong, linggggerrrring smell! :-( I only sprayed a little on one of the planks, and I had to throw that plank and the spray out. I did keep and use the other planks, but they truly don't have the aromatic smell of cedar; that smell that takes you into a forest. I am super sensitive to smells, and even after I tossed this, I kept smelling it, which kind of game me a headache. I also feel this item is expensive for what you get, but I will check out local hardware stores and see if I can do better. Would not recommend this item because even the planks do not have much smell at all.

Where to place them in closets
Not giving much cedar smell. Not sure about getting the moths out. It may be too early to tell

They are what they say they are
Sure enough, these are little cedar planks with optional metal hooks that you can screw into the pilot holes for hanging the planks from a rail in your closet. I just needed them for some drawers, so it was easy enough to take a few out of the box and add them among the clothes in the dresser.

The smell is fresh and clean!
Dr. Killigan's Cedar Planks with Hanger Hooks and Cedar Ward Enhancing Spray is a quality set of products. The planks make any room, closet or drawer smell fresh and your clothing items are more naturally protected against pesky moths eating them. There are only a few things worse than discovering that a moth has eaten your favorite, dress, suit, coat or sweater! The Killigan's kit comes unassembled to save room, but assembly is fast. The spray is a big boost in power for these planks and any planks that you already have.

As Expected
They seem good and the price was fair. No complaints yet. I have to get through the summer but they worked last year.
