The mic is pretty sensitive. It blocks most background noise like music and passive sounds. However when on a Teams call, with all the intelligent noise cancelling ON, it still thinks that people two tables away from me are 'in the room' with me and decides to interject them into the call I'm on. I think this is largely due to a lack of directional mic. There are better options, I don't recommend this one.

Not for use as a gaming headset
The earbuds themselves sound great, alone. However, once the microphone is engaged the sound quality is terrible. For phone calls, webex, or similar, it is fine. But if you planned on chatting in something like discord while continuing to listen to your music, forget about it. I believe the decision to put the microphone in the headphones, and not inline like the pixel buds for example, was a mistake. I will keep these and purchase a dedicated microphone, as the comfort and sound quality without the mic is desirable.
