Night and Day Difference!
My son had been unable to hold his bow properly for two years! He kept angling the wood too much towards himself so not all the bow-hair was making contact with the strings. It.lead to a weak sound and it was driving his teacher nuts. As a final resort, I bought this bow-grip device. I was worried that it would just be a gimmick and a waste of money. I was totally wrong! Literally the first time my son used it, his bow grip was perfect and all the bow-hairs now make contact with the string. His teacher loves it! I only have one issue with this device, which is a bit unfair because it's unavoidable. Due to the bulkiness of the rubber grip, the bow doesn't fit as well in my son's violin case. With a little adjusting, it can work though. Regardless, I highly recommend this device!

Finally put my pinky and fingers at Ease
Exactly what I needed . I found that the bow hold was the toughest for an adult player this quickly put my run away pinky at ease.

I guess it works - but bulky and awkward
Works as advertised, but not comfortable to use. Better to just learn proper bow hold with practice. Maybe the pinky part will be ok?

Couldn't make the large piece work for me because I play left-handed violin.
I couldn't use the larger part because I play violin left-handed. Some of these may claim to be useful for both right-handed & left-handed players, but that's not the case. The pinky finger placement piece works well & is comfortable.

Adult player.
As an adult player I found holding the bite properly a problem. With mild arthritis and a pinky that wouldn't bend properly I didn't jabs the relaxed control I needed. This solved the problem right away. Putting it on is easy and you can easily adjust it to your own hand.
