Amazon Basics Rectangular Wall Mounted Coat Rack, Pack of 1, 5 Hook, Standard, Barnwood

Previously, we had hooks on the back of all the bedroom doors for bath robes. Having just had all of the doors replaced with new oak ones, I didn't want to start screwing hooks into them! I looked at lots of alternatives, suitable for bedrooms, and there are absolutely loads - but very little we liked until looking at these. They are available in 3 x finishes, but we chose natural, which come in packs of 2 (but you can also get individually). In all honesty I was really, and pleasantly, surprised at the quality of them, and finish to the wood. The hooks are nicely finished, and strong - not roughly cast like some, and likewise the wood nice and smooth edges etc. The screws are captive, the coat hooks slide over screw heads (like key holes) for a nice flush finish, with no exposed screws etc. Love 'em! Super value too.

The 5 stars is based on it being a good quality item priced at around £17 for 2. I chase the mahogonnary one with 5 hooks because it was the cheapest but it still looks good and works well.my husband thinks the fixing points on the hooks are slightly out from being perfectly horizontally but I don't particularly notice it, especially as it is covered by loads of coats. Edited to add photos of the product in use. Excuse the messy coats!

These are great - oddly the twin pack where you get 2 of the hook racks in one pack was £1 more than the single pack... Don't quite get the logic of that! It was easy to fit and we stored the second one as a spare incase the first one breaks. Ours has gone into a solid wood bathroom door for coats etc - it's having to put up with quite a bit of weight from Parka Coats etc and it's standing up to that quite well! Occasionally you put a heavy coat on it and it'll creak so I'm not sure how long it'll be before we get woke up with it snapping in the night - but it seems sturdy enough and seems like it'll last long enough! Ultimately if you overload it - as with anything - expect it to break. Keep within its limits and it'll work fine! The paint finish and the black hooks are really well finished too so overall a great little package of hooks

We needed to get coat hooks in the hall of our new place, we considered individual hooks but were put off the idea, due to the need to line them up perfectly and the amount of wall drilling required we decided to look for a Coat Rack instead. The reviews of the Amazon Basics Rectangular Wall Mounted Coat Rack - 5 Hook item seemed good, so we decided to "plump" for one of them. Sturdy, good looking and so easy to install, a great addition.

Needed something for all the kids coats but didn't want to spend a lot of money on a coat rack or hooks. This is really nice, all pre-assembled so just add holes to wall , hook this on to the screws you've just put in the wall and boom - more space for coats! Really pleased for the price and quality.

So pleased with these practical and elegant coat hook racks. I didn't think I would actually need 2 but they have made such a difference to keeping coats, bags and other clutter off the backs of chairs and bannister they are worth every penny. Really easy to install with paper tape to make marking up the wall more accurate. Not sure how they will hold up over time but they seem sturdy enough.

Great value for money and really easy to fit. Obviously you get what you pay for, so the wood isn't great quality and it is slightly flimsy but overall i'd definitely recommend

Looks and feels like a good quality item at a very competitive price. However, the design for attaching to the wall is poor and doesn't feel secure enough to take the weight and size of this object when mounted (there are two holes in the back into which you 'slot' the rack), leading to the rack falling down. Currently looking at drilling extra holes through the front of the rack to help spread the load and make the rack more secure.

Es muy bonito, se ve robusto y de buena calidad, tanto la parte de madera como los ganchos de metal. Bien fijados en su sitio, bien acabados y más bonito de lo que se aprecia en las fotos. Trae incluso los tornillos y tacos y un "metro" de papel para medir la distancia entre agujeros, lo cual no es muy habitual. Muy satisfecha con el precio, llegó en un día, es muy bonito.... Lo recomiendo totalmente.
