With the extreme heat (90 - 100+) this summer, these shade clothes have been crucial in the garden. Esp for more delicate veggies like celery & sugar snap peas. Love the metal gromets and wide, finished edges. These are more durable than they look! 1 came off the trellis it was attached to (t-storm w. 60 - 70 mph wind gusts - NOT typical weather) Happy to find it intact/ unscathed, albeit a bit muddy! May purchase another in larger sz. eventually. These have met and even exceeded our expectations! Very happy w. this product!

Used this for growing hot peppers. Worked perfectly, cutting just enough sun for my peppers to thrive. It was tough, stood up to being repositioned and repinned a few times, and my plants were healthy and happy.

in the garden they are uglier then sin - wish they came either in a solid color or printed as a rainbow or something - the sun blasts down on the concrete drive with a shallow side that is filled with pebbles that I'm trying to cover with vines that are getting beat up by the intense heat and so I saved the plants by hanging two of these in front of them but oh oh oh what and eyesore - have some peach trees that need these since the last hurricane took down an older large tree that shaded them in the afternoon but not anxious to see these black veils placed on the afternoon side of these flowering peach trees. Has anyone bleached them or dyed them?

This is nice small sized shade cloth. I found that they do protect my plants from the intense UV light of the sun. It's easy to install and is wind resistant. I'm not sure about the durability of the material because it is more loosely woven.

My husband bought this shade screen for our garden in Pensacola, Florida because our temperatures are over 90 degrees plus. My bell peppers, cayenne peppers, and jalapeno peppers were getting scorched. This shade screen helped tremendously. I absolutely love it and so thankful my husband found it on Amazon.

Terrible product I ordered two of the same items and one of them showed up without grommets on the sides or on the “width” portion, the material of the cloth is somewhat decent, but I do not know how it will hold up to the weather. The stitching started coming apart as I was taking it out of the package. Grommets became unpinned as I was hanging it up, and since one of them did not have grommets on the sides I had a hard time tensioning that one correctly, as I was limited on attachment points. Buyer be warned, you might or might not get the product that is shown in the pictures, and it will start falling apart when you start to put it up.

This cloth is awesome. It has saved my plants from the 100° heat.

Lasts for about 6-8 months if in direct sun. Ours are fully disintegrated after 1 year.

This was fairly easy to install and fits over our greenhouse nicely. We noticed a significant temperature difference on the first day. My tomato plants are already happier 😁

No eyelets on the sides.

This shade cloth is keeping my greenhouse much cooler. I got the 50% as that was recommended for my area. I like the way the edges are sewn numerous times so it is less likely to pull apart. So far I’ve found wind does not affect it much. I also can partially open the roof vents which is great. I’d recommend this shade cloth.

This is not 40-50% shade cloth as it says. If you go through the fine print of the description at the very bottom of the add it says 80-90% shade. Far too dark for a greenhouse so we will be returning it
