Quality is top notch
Easy to put together. It can get heavy but such is life when it is a 30ft pole. Still easy to access super tall branches without having to get on a ladder! Love the capability to have it in whatever increments you want it at as well, makes it easier to use as well. Blade was super sharp and made it easy to swipe big palm fronds down from the palm trees. Definitely takes care of trimming trees and branches like never before

Works great with a little practice
Had my doubts at first. Was even considering returning it before opening. Glad I didn’t. I have 4 beautiful Adonidia Palms (Christmas Palms) in our front yard, next to the driveway. They have been dropping berries continuously and I’ve been afraid of a berry cluster or branch falling on one of the cars. Our maintenance crew have not been able to trim these because of their height, so I’ve been looking for something to do the job. While looking for a throw line and cable saw, I found this pole saw and ordered it. It’s a little tricky at first but once you figure how to keep it as vertical as possible, it actually works great. The blade cuts very well on these palm trees and is designed well with the stops at each end. It holds together very well, considering the weight and stress on the connection points. It would be nice to have an accessory to mount on the tip to install Christmas lights on a tree.

Tight tool for high and low trees
Good product! Long enough to deal with most of trees. Saw is sharp so easily to cut high branches. Two point to improve: heavy to handle, but strong enough; the saw blade is easy to bend.

Well built, worth the money.
The unit is very well-built, with two great blades and a useful storage bag. There is a learning curve once you pass 25 feet in height. You quickly find out you must maintain the blade within roughly 10 to 20 degrees of vertical for the highest limbs or rest the blade against a limb or tree trunk while you try to navigate to where you want to cut; otherwise the pole will literally become uncontrollable and gravity takes over. If using the pole with most of its extensions, there are not too many people with the strength to stop the pole once it starts down. Plan ahead and consider where the pole might land before doing any cutting. Small cutting strokes, rather than fast movement, seem to work best, along with letting the weight of the blade and pole exert downward pressure to make the cut. I had several "crashes" during the learning phase, and the unit did not suffer any damage. Using this set up saved me hundreds of dollars compare to having a pro do the cutting.

Worked as I hope it would
It worked as I hoped it would. Good quality and I like how it stores. Some thoughts. I have only used all but 3 lengths so far as I forget that I am 6 foot and as I reach that is another 2 feet so my 30 foot tree didn't need 30 feet of pole. The other thing is I am not strong enough (yet) to hold up all 30 feet as it gets heavy. The product is light weight and if it was any lighter it would not be strong enough. It does bend some throughout the whole length. What I am saying is that it is just a reality that it takes some amount of arm strength to hold up a 30 foot pole. It works for me and it is great. The saw itself is very sharp. I have been using it to trim palm trees.

Blade cuts in both directions, minimizing the number of strokes needed to cut
The poles are sturdy, even up over 20 feet you have good stability. The carry bag makes it easy to get the tool to where your are working. Pole segments attach with screw together threads. The blade cuts in both directions, minimizing the number of strokes needed to cut through tough palm tree branches. The grips at the end make manipulated the pole more ergonomic.Tip: connect enough length so that you can back away a little from branch being cut. This will allow the blade to have more downward weight to dig blade consistently on the branch. This also makes it safer for you by putting you out of harms way. There is also a hook on the end of the blade which makes it perfect for grabbing onto palm tree seed pods and yanking them down far enough to get the cutting edge into a spot to cut it down. Just be sure to not be directly under the pod when it falls as the pod weighs several pounds.

Great Product
This thing is a monster! If you need to cut limbs way up, then get this product. The bag is nice if you work remotely and have to carry the tools out there. The weight of the fully assembled tool aids in applying pressure to the cut. The fully assembeled pole has a lot of flex and may feel heavy to lift. But once it is up and on the limb, it works well!

Too wobbly at full height
As a note, you'll have a VERY difficult if not impossible time trying to use the full 30' (all extensions). Even at 18', it becomes very difficult to manage (and I'm a strong guy), so if you're looking to buy one of these, anything longer than 20' is of little value.
