Beautiful soft wool. Great for warm blankets. Get a good amount for the price

This yarn is super soft and the colour is perfect. I used it to make a toy for my granddaughter but would be lovely as a winter baby blanket, socks, mittens or hats too. I have bought it more than once and would buy it again. It is thick, so it would be best to use a 6 or 7 crochet hook. It is easy to work with but don't pull to tight if joining another colour as it may frey at the end. It is durable.

I found this super easy to use, worked up quickly and created a cosy blanket. I would compare thickness to king Cole toasty, and texture to flutterby chunky. Strong and doesn’t shed which is a plus. Weight as described and good value for money.

Absolutely love this yarn! It is so so soft and a dream to work with, so much easier to crochet with than traditional woven yarn and makes amigurumi projects so much cuter and cuddlier. I would like to note that be careful what patterns you are following as this rabbit I made (about 20cm) was following a pattern for a rabbit of about 5cm, so due to the thickness of the yarn it has made it so much bigger (I used a 3mm hook as the pattern suggested) so either follow a pattern that used the same kind of yarn or be prepared for it to be 4x larger. This rabbit used just over half of the skein so I still have plenty left for another project. Very happy with it, have already purchased more of this for other projects! Also I think the picture I have posted is a bit deceiving, the colour is a lovely pink, the lighting has just dulled it a bit in my photo.

This review is intended for using the yarn to make toys / plushies;This blanket yarn is pretty bulky and great for making bigger plushies. I used the beige and wine colours in this plushie picturedPros:- compared to other “chenille” yarns, it is a matte/not shiny/not velvet version, meaning it does not shed at all, i had no fluff falling off and the yarn didn’t snap when sewing or making magic rings- it is nice and bulky so things work up quickly- the colour range is greatCons:- the yarn is a bit stiff and I had hand pain when crocheting with it compared to more soft chenille yarns, but in my opinion it’s worth it because of the pros- It used nearly a whole ball of the brown yarn to make the plushie shown, compare to other yarns i have used you don’t get as muchoverall i enjoyed the results of this yarn and will be purchasing again
