Good product for my 15 year old Westie.
I was told by my veterinarian that this would be a good alternative to brushing my 15-year-old West Highland terrier teeth. This is a great product for her, the plaque that was building up along the backside because she wouldn’t let me brush her teeth well has completely gone and her teeth are clean and white. This a chew that she enjoys and it works.

They do as they state.
My dog loves these dental sticks. I give 1/2 of a stick (once) every evening. I have noticed her teeth are whiter where she had some brownish plaque. They work well!

Great chews
These are great, our 2 dogs love them and we don't have to worry about them sitting in their stomachs.

Good for dogs with vulnerable teeth
My big 3 y/o rescue had to have a huge tooth extracted d/t breakage and the opposite tooth is also chipped and at risk, but she loves to chew. These are expensive but worth it to me as they clean and safeguard her teeth. They don't smell, they break down without harming her teeth (they sort of disintigrate as she chews them, not unlike shatterproof glass). They don't last as long as rawhides but she still loves them and gets some chewing joy in. They do not cause any GI problems.

Expensive
Our dog loves these and tolerates these better than other dental chews. Four stars because I think these have always been expensive and have recently gone up in price even more. I am looking for an alternative because of the price point.

Soft? Nope.
These are not soft. At all. I don't know why the word soft is even in the name. I bought these for my senior dogs with teeth sensitivity, when they would no longer eat their harder dental treats, and was very bummed when they arrived. These are just as hard, if not harder, than what we were giving them before. Also these are the least descriptive serving instructions I've ever seen on a product for dogs, "35 and under get a full treat, toy breads half." Toy breeds isn't an defined weight, but my dogs are closer to the toy range than 35 pounds, so that's leaving a good amount of ambiguity for me. The reason I am still giving four stars, despite the negative review, is that at least for now they are eating these. So, I assume they taste enough better than their old one that they are willing to work harder for them, but I'll have to ask their vet if I should let them eat them or if that's bad for their sensitive teeth. In which case I'll dock another star.
