100% worth it !
If you’re looking for a high quality budget friendly microphone this is for youu ! There are so many customisable rgb colours so I was able to find one that suit my setup perfectly. The sound is so crisp and clear with minimal background fuzz which really emphasises its quality . The mic itself is sleek with a foam cover , it’s simple yet so cute . You can also angle the mic making it super comfortable to use ! Shipping was sooo quick it was barely any time waited . The mic was also super easy to set up , screw the bottom on and then plug straight into your pc . I would 100% recommend this for gamers , streamers , anyone !! 💗💗

Fantastic Microphone!
Wow, I am very impressed with the Fifine AM8 microphone! From the moment I started using it, the audio quality has been nothing short of exceptional, especially for the price. The build quality is very good - sleek and sturdy, making it easy to handle and use. Setting it up was a breeze; it seamlessly connected to my PC via USB C meaning it was essentially plug and play. It also has XLR connection if this is what you are looking to connect via. The price-to-performance ratio is unbeatable. The AM8 offers such quality results without costing a fortune. I would highly recommend this for anyone in the market for a microphone. Small touches like being able to mount to pretty much any mic arm, the changeable RGB and the touch to mute button make this mic feel a lot more expensive than it actually is. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my this microphone. I have only been using it for two days, but people on my chat and work calls have commented that how clear I sound. I have recommended it to anyone who has commented! I hope this helps :)

Impressive - sounds great, great price and is very aesthetic
Brilliant microphone, especially for the price. I originally bought it for my son and even his friends commented on how much better his sound quality is when he's gaming online. Previously, he had a Blue Yeti which was bought second hand for £70, and despite this being a much cheaper alternative, it actually looks nicer on the desk and the sound quality is noticeably clearer. The cable is long enough to keep the desk tidy and so it can be used from anywhere, there's a handy little tap-to-mute function on it too which is a nice touch and the customisable lighting fits perfectly with his set up. It also came with a solid stand and a good quality pop filter which is impressive for the price, so you do not need an additional boom arm. If you're after a budget-friendly mic that not only looks premium and performs like a high-end option, this is it. You can use it for streaming, chatting with friends or just a casual gaming session.

Awesome AUDIO Quality for PRICE
If you're on the hunt for a budget-friendly microphone that punches above its weight, then buckle up because the Fifine AM8 could be the hidden gem you've been searching for. Let's dive into why this microphone might just be your new best friend in audio recording. Unboxing and First Impressions: Straight out of the box, the AM8 is a neat little package that's bound to raise eyebrows, especially when you peek at the price tag! It comes with a solid stand, featuring a standard 3/8-inch screw, and a handy 2M USB C to USB A cable. The mic itself is lightweight with a plastic body, but don't be fooled – it sits on a weighty metal stand. The real treat? An ultra-soft flocking windscreen that feels delightfully plush. Design and Build: Fifine keeps it simple and functional with the AM8. The robust stand is great, but for the optimal podcast sound, you'll want to get it closer – about 2-3 inches from your mouth. A boom arm (and Fifine has a great one) might be a worthy addition for achieving that warm, intimate audio. Connectivity and Features: Here's where the AM8 shines. Offering both USB-C and XLR connections, it caters to beginners and those looking to step up their game. But, keep in mind, the Gain and volume controls are only operational via USB. With XLR, you'll need a mixer or interface for these functions. RGB Functionality: For those who love a bit of flair, the integrated RGB lighting in three modes adds a cool aesthetic touch to your setup – but this fun feature is a USB-only party. Audio Quality: Now, for the heart of the matter – sound. The AM8 impresses with clear, crisp audio. When connected with XLR to a mixer it is more than a match with more expensive mics like the Rode Podmic, for entry-level use, it's a solid performer. User Experience: Setup is super easy – plug in, and you're good to go. The zero-lag headphone monitoring is a big win, ensuring smooth, real-time audio feedback. Cons: It's not without its quirks, though. The buttons, especially the mute button, are a tad sensitive. Accidental presses happened more than I'd like to admit. And while its lightweight design is great for some, it might feel a bit too flimsy for others used to heavier mics. You can't use with heavy-duty boom mic arm - as it is too light. Conclusion: The Fifine AM8 is a standout choice in the budget microphone market. Perfect for audio newbies or those on a tight budget, it offers a fantastic mix of quality, functionality, and affordability. For around £50, you get audio performance that competes with much pricier models. Fifine knows their game in delivering budget-friendly gear with a premium feel. And I'm seriously considering swapping my £100+ Rode PodMic for this – it's that impressive.

A premium mic for a budget price - You won't be disappointed
I have been using this mic for the last month on a daily basis for both work and play and I think Fifine have done very well to produce a product which packs a great punch! Build and Appearance The mic is solidly built so it will be long-lasting (which is what you want in tech products). I went for the black option as it suits my aesthetic but other colours are available including pink and white. Features RGB - It boasts a range of RGB functions if you like additional lighting, however there is the option of turning off completely by long-pressing the dedicated RGB button. Connectivity - There is dual connection available, the mic can be connected by USB as well as XLR cables. The USB connectivity can either be USB C or USB A, the included cable has an adapter that allows you to choose how you'd like to connect. Mute Button - There is a very handy mute button on the mic itself which allows for easy muting. It flashes red when the mic is muted and stays green when the mic is active so you know if you are live or not. Volume Controls - There are volume and headset volume controls on the mic which helps with controlling your audio output - this is ideal if you're streaming! Actual Use This has been my mic of choice for the last month. I have liked the desk presence of this mic as it is a great size and the sound quality is great - I have actually received some great feedback from colleagues who have said that the mic quality is very crisp and clear. I think if you are a streamer you will definitely make so much use out of this mic and will enjoy using it. This has now replaced my previous mic and I'll continue to use this going forward unless Fifine release an upgraded version!

The best budget mic available!
Absolutely fantastic, not just for the price, just fantastic. Clear crisp sound. Cool looking design and rgb. Paired with their mixer this sounds no different to the £500 setup i have on my other PC. I was actually really suprised by how good the sound quality is on this budget microphone. Its absolutely perfect if your just starting up or even wanting to upgrade as this is better than most other mics I have tried and far better than any USB mic ive used. Its light enough to sit on even a cheap microphone swing arm. Cardio pattern so you dont pick up keyboard clacks. Having the ability to use it as both a usb mic and a xlr mic adds so much versatility to it. Headphone jack built in is a much welcome addition too. And the price of all this is amazing!

Great Mic, easy to construct out the box and great audio quality. Great budget option.
After doing some initial research, I purchased the Fifine AM8 to improve the quality of my audio for videos and streams. I am new to streaming and have a deep voice so finding the right microphone is crucial. In all this microphone has been amazing so far, and cuts down the harshness of my p's and s's with the built in Pop filter. RGB isn't really my thing, but the colors are interchangeable, but not addressable. There's a selection of colors that are bright and will fit most peoples vibe or branding. The mic is both XLR as well as USB, with USB-C to USB A cable included in the box alongside the desktop stand. Easy to construct and stable base. In all, am happy with the purchase as it fits my needs perfectly and is very affordable as I am on a budget. Works well and can be managed using the on mic dials to improve quality of the vocals on the fly.

Great starter microphone with XLR option
This is a very good microphone, especially if you’re just starting out. The sound quality is clear and more than good enough for gaming, streaming, calls, or basic recording. Setup is simple and straightforward, so you don’t need any technical experience to get it working. One feature I really like is that you can plug headphones directly into the microphone, which makes monitoring audio easy without any delay. It can also be used as an XLR mic, which is great if you want to upgrade your setup later without having to buy a completely new microphone. The build quality feels solid and well made for the price, and it looks good on a desk setup as well. Overall, this microphone offers good flexibility, ease of use, and value for money. If you’re buying for a startup setup or just need a reliable mic without spending too much, this is a great choice and I’ve had no problems with it so far.
