Doctor's Best Curcumin From Turmeric Root with C3 Complex &

Very good and works!

My arthritis was getting bad enough to keep me awake at night and I am unable to take NSAID because of kidney disease. When I heard about Turmeric and researched it, I found out you need to read the label closely, to get only the EXTRACT, not the root. I looked at lots of labels and chose Dr’s Best 1000 mg tablets. Then I double checked studies to be sure it wouldn’t damage my kidneys. It actually HELPS kidneys and Fatty Liver Disease! The NIH studies say it works by repairing Leaky Gut Syndrome, to reduce inflammation. I only wish it was a permanent cure. I tried it on an empty stomach, which is best for absorption, but I had stomach pain from it. I now take it with half a protein shake and have no problems, and it still works well. It works for my arthritis, and if I stop I notice the pain returning within a couple of days. My shoulder arthritis is better, but my rotator cuff is only partially improved, but I will take what relief I can get. I have noticed that if I am eating lots of sweets, my arthritis gets worse (sugar is inflammatory), and I take an extra pill (twice a day) and back off the sweets. This pill is worth the money to me. My daughter tried a different well known brand and it didn’t help. I am buying her a big bottle of Doctor’s Best today to see if it helps her.

I've been taking Doctor's Best Curcumin for about 3-4 years now. I started taking one 1000MG pill per day and now I take two, one after lunch and one before bed. I haven't touched a NSAID in for ever. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis 11 years ago. I'm in my mid thirties now and it's been quite the ride. I've had corrective surgery on my hands to fix my ulnar deviation. Buttoning anything was a chore, forget opening anything...and while I was following a treatment I was still in pain from the damages my body incurred prior to being on a treatment. I usually purchase two bottles of 120 pills from amazon. This should last me about 4 months. I never allow it to run out because I feel pain when I don't take these supplements so I order 2 bottles every 3-4 months. Aside from controlling the pain I feel like I don't get sick as much...I can't remember the last time I had a flu or ended up sick while on these supplements. I've actually wanted to try cheaper versions of this (as I pay about 50 bucks per bottle) but I'm afraid to mess up a good thing. I tell everyone who have joint pain about curcumin and how much it's helped me. I did my research...intensively...prior to starting this regiment. I first learnt of Doctor's Best from a lady's case who beat cancer with curcumin (and perhaps something else but I can't recall)...she said she tried numerous brands and these worked the best for her. Prior to Dr's Best she made her own paste with turmeric powder. Do your research. Curcumin/turmeric isn't for everyone. People suffering from gallstones etc should stay away. Also, it's a natural blood thinner....so you shouldn't take it if you're already on blood thinners and in case of surgery, you need to stop the curcumin 2 weeks prior to your surgery. After suffering with every pain imaginable, and spending a small fortune on junk which gave zero results. A friend recommended Dr's. Best. He said It saved his life. My wife and I use this brand because it seems to help my enlarged prostate condition, my cholesterol levels and it is noticeably good for our digestive systems. We tried other brands at 30 day intervals and they did not seem to work well. My concerns are: 1. There is no independent agency that certifies quality or potency claims, 2. The bottle allows light to penetrate in (I have read curcumin potency is negatively affected by light) and 3. I worry that this manufacture, like so many others, could easily, and at any time, dilute the potency and misrepresent the product. 'I guess the proof is in the pudding'. I will use it as long as I trust it.
