This 40W 12V solar charging kit is perfect for a motorhome, caravan, campervan, boat, or any off-grid power, lighting or back up system with one or two 12V batteries. The kit includes: - 40W solar panel with 5m of special solar cable and connectors - 10A 12V dual battery solar charge controller - Set of 4 corner plastic ing brackets - Waterproof double entry cable gland - 5m of battery cable - Pair of waterproof MC4 connectors - User manual with detailed instructions 10A dual battery solar charge controller is designed to charge and protect 2 batteries independently with pre-set charging priority e.g. 80% of power to go to the first battery and 20% to the second. When one of the batteries is fully charged the controller will redirect all power to the other battery. The kit can also work fine with a single battery. If there's only 1 battery connected to the controller, it will pass all power to this battery. This controller has many protection functions, such as stopping reverse current at night, over charge, short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Other features include LED indicators, battery type selection and a socket for a remote LCD meter. This kit includes a set of 4 plastic corner ing brackets for fixing the solar panel to the roof and a double entry cable gland for keeping the cable entry point waterproof. Brackets and cable gland can be bonded to the roof using an appropriate sealant (not included). The kit also includes a 5m double core battery cable which can be used for 1 battery or cut into two pieces for 2 batteries.
