Small Rolling Stool for Barbershop

After reading the reviews I thought this might be a tad small for my bum lol it’s actually quite big! I’m a large uk size 16 and it’s plenty! Definitely don’t do gymnastics on it or go leaning about but for my sewing projects it’s been great, hasn’t tipped once, I only needed a good perch as sitting at the end of my bed was a nightmare and the bed would start sinking where I’m sat.. it’s a perfect addition to my room and tucks under the desk nicely! Great price, great little stool with a decent, above average sized seat, I’ve definitely had smaller than this and as a stool I’d say it’s actually a large seat. I can’t attest to what it’s like for long periods of sitting as I only sew in short bursts and spend most of my time stood hand sewing but I’d imagine you’d get away with sitting for an hour or so here and there without too much trouble.. it’s probably best for those who need to be seated for short periods here and there but up to an hour is loads. It’s truly a great purchase. Really well padded seat, about 6cm deep and 30cm diameter.. Easy to put together and it moves about reasonably well but I literally don’t need it to go jetting about anywhere, if you need to move about a lot whilst seated, perhaps get a stool with a wider wheelbase as this one is smaller than the seat which will always be a tipping hazard, especially on carpet. I absolutely love it and it’s perfect for my needs.

Great little stool . Took all of 1 min to assemble. Very sturdy given thay it is round. And comfortable too. Great for doing lower level jobs around the house as I dont have to be on my knees . Also good value for money

Arrives in a suspiciously small package! Very easy to assemble. The small footprint suits my requirements perfectly, though as others have noted, this inevitably compromises the stool's stability.

Couldn't decide on this one but over the moon with it, love the colour, great height adjustment and swivals. Very sturdy and strong. If you are unsure go for this one it's excellent.

Don't be put off by the idea that assembly is required - it is 4 screws, and the key is provided, so no drama. The quality is actually better than I expected; there is nothing I could fault about it. It has a good range of movement (adjusts to the height required), and the 5-leg design makes one feel safe and stable.

Hocker war gut verpackt und ist in 2 Minuten montiert. Preis-Leistung würde ich als sehr gut einschätzen. Um die Rollen zu montieren hab ich mit einem kleinen Hammer und Unterlegstück nachgeholfen. Mit dieser Methode sitzen die Räder bombenfest. Sitzfläche ist für mich angenehm. Hydraulik arbeitet einwandfrei. Nun zum Streitpunkt: „der Hocker kippt leicht und man fällt unweigerlich“ Ja, der Hocker kann schnell kippen! Ich habe ihn wegen des günstigen Preises und eben wegen dem kleinen Untergestell gekauft. Normalerweise werden diese Hocker mit größerem Durchmesser verkauft. Aufgrund dieser technischen Spezifikation war es mir aber sehr wichtig einen kleinen Radstand zu haben. Also eigentlich sollte man wissen was einen erwartet. Ich nutze ihn als Drehstuhl fürs Gitarre spielen und das funktioniert perfekt. Die Rollen drehen auf kurzhaarigen Teppichen, Laminat und /oder Fliesen mit kleinen Fugen ohne Beanstandung. Ich würde den Hocker jederzeit wieder bestellen, jedoch älteren Menschen mit körperlichen Defiziten und jungen „Hyperaktiven „ davon abraten. Auch sollte der Hocker nicht in Schulen, Krankenhäusern oder anderen öffentlichen Einrichtungen eingesetzt werden. Aber, für mich persönlich gibt es die volle Punkzahl !

Well made, quick and easy assembly, what's not to love? About this stool being unstable: it's more likely only at the high seat setting, but judging from my early experience thus far I would have say the lowest seat setting seems very stable. Stool's purpose for me is moving back and forth to select vinyl record albums stored low in my credenza cabinet, which is sitting very low to the ground. For this function this 'low' stool is perfectly suited. Enjoy!
