If cleaning is necessary, use on metal a solvent or a mixture water and detergent, on plastic preferably from the Net-Trol (same manufacturer). Perfectly rinse with fresh water and allow to dry at least 12 hours. Application: Apply a layer of Polytrol carefully with a soft brush. Beware of the drippings (for metal surfaces, sanding thoroughly with steel wool very fine, well soaked of Polytrol). Leave for 10 to 20 minutes then remove the excess product by wiping with a lint clean cloth or paper towel. Do not dry
