Good beginner instrument
I love the look and feel of this tenor. Came with cleaning kit, joint grease and thumb rest. Lower note key works easily. I have nothing to compare this with, and suspect it would not impress more experienced players, but for a beginner it is perfect.

Tenor recorder that's a pleasure to hear and play
For a budget priced recorder this has a good sound. It is easy to finger and the keys at the base work well. Comes with greased joints for ease of putting together, a case, and an excellent fingering chart with both German and English/baroque fingering positions very clearly displayed on the chart. I'm very pleased with this recorder and have got used to it quickly. I enjoy playing it!

Couldn't manage finger position and returned
Neither I (adult flautist with small hands) nor my husband who has large hands, could cover the holes. We had to contort our right shoulder a lot, even with adjusting the orientation of the 3 parts.I was really disappointed as I live the deeper sounds of the tenor recorder and bought it because, like the descant recorder, it is in C and I wanted to play it alongside my child to help him learn. Sadly we couldn't make it work and returned itThe return was handled very swiftly and easily though which was very helpful.

Didn't like at all
The thing I like less in this recorder is the key for the bottom notes is plastic and not offer precision. After playing for a short period of time recorder becomes full of condensation very quickly which affects the notes and needs to be cleaned out all the time. This recorder definitively don't have tonal quality and is not a performance level instrument. I buy it to replace my old recorder but not happy at all with this one.

Nice instrument but not recommended for small hands
I have the descant and alto recorders in this range - as well as sounding good, they look great. So I wanted the matching tenor to complete the set. However I have ridiculously small hands for an adult and I couldn't get the bottom notes to sound because I couldn't apply enough pressure to the keys with my pinkie. So regrettably I'm having to return it as I'm finding that an Aulos keyless tenor works better for me.
