This switch works with a wireless receiver. If you want 2 way switching you will need one wireless receiver and two switches. The receiver is wired into the supply to the light fitting but you will need space  for it to be sited, for example in the ceiling void. Otherwise look for the Quinetic brand where you can swap the original switch for a combined switch and receiver, then use this switch as the second switch.

The light will remain on the same status as when the power went off. I.e if it was on when the power went off, it will be on when it comes back on. You don’t need to repair it. I’ve had the power off 3 times and works a treat.

Hello, the switches need to be paired with the wireless controller. The typical pairing method is to press and hold the controller "pairing key" for about 3 seconds, let go when the indicator light flashes, and then press a button of the  switch once (do not press quickly or continuously). The indicator light goes off, which means that the pairing is successful. After the pairing is successful, you can press the switch button to turn it on/off the controller. Hope it can help you!
