We are big fans of Andrew James having also got the Volcano waffle maker. With three boys it is a firm favourite and build quality is good.

Brilliant, good strong construction, aesthetically pleasing, well worth the money.

This fondue maker is dangerous for my health, chocolate fondue is far too yummy! We've made both chocolate and cheese fondue in this and it works great. The height is just right above the Brennpaste fondue gel pots (bought separately) to melt. Once it's melted it takes a bit of fiddling with the crude lid to close off the flames so the fondue doesn't burn but it works. You could use a tea light but it would take considerably longer to melt and will put black soot on the bottom of the pot. Also, be careful with the metal skewers as they will scratch the bottom of the pot. The little rubber feet fall off the cast iron stand but I'll glue these on. One last tip: put it on a heat resistant surface or use a heat resistant mat underneath to protect your table.

Have not tried it yet, but it looks realy good, came well packed, really heavy. Everything I was expecting! The ball is just perfect size for me!

I ordered two fondue sets as it was a last minute requirement for a surprise dinner party with family and friends during the Chistmas holiday period. The delivery was prompt. Unfortunately, one of the sets appeard to have been used as it has a slight orange tinge on part of the inside, the set of forks were re-packaged and the open end was sealed with sellotape. Also the lid of the cast iron pot was considerably scratched. also there are two small scratch marks in the base of this particular pot. Unfortuantley, i opened the boxes just before preparing the meal for dinner so i had no time to get a repalcement etc. The worst part of this dissapointing experience was that the supplied solid fuel gel units in BOTH sets would not light despite our best efforts. this resulted in having to cook the fondue on the gas cooker hob then transfer the pots to the dining table then back on to the cooker to reheat repeatedly throught the entire meal. I contacted the manufacurer on the phone and then vial email. Then After supplying them with the Amazon order number as requested i got an email saying " No return is required..... just cut the cable as close to the unit as possible and submitt a photgraph"....???? I replied to the effect that their email was not relevent to my original query. The fondue sets Have not cables !!! I gave the manufacture, Andrew James, a chance to help provide a solution befre having to write a negative review on the Amazon portal. The email corrsespondance between them and the customer(me) is a clear indication of their lack of concern and complete unprofessional attitude to their customers.

Product is as advertised, really good size, very easy to use. Great.

Super appareil, fonctionne parfaitement pour tout types de fondues ( savoyarde, bourguignone et meme au chocolat). L'appareil est composé de pics fourchettes adaptés, et de couleur différentes, il n'est ni trop grand ni trop petit, parfait pour un milieu de table et très mignon en plus. Je recommande vivement, très bon rapport qualité/prix.

On a tous eu affaire à ces appareils à fondue cheap qui rendent l'âme au bout de deux hivers. Celui-là c'est une autre histoire. De la vraie fonte émaillée, lourde, solide, qui chauffe uniformément et qui en impose sur la table. Plusieurs années au compteur et il est toujours impeccable, aucune dégradation, aucune mauvaise surprise. Pour le prix c'est franchement compétitif face à ce qu'on trouve en magasin pour de la fonte véritable. Un investissement qu'on ne regrette pas.

Suite à la livraison de l'appareil à fondue, il s'avère qu'il nous manque un tampon du support. Pouvez-vous faire le nécessaire ? Sinon le service est conforme à sa représentation.
