Does the usb-c connector on the 20W version support pd charging?

No sadly it doesn’t maybe the NEXT GEN will but as of now it doesn’t I had to send mine back just because of that reason

although our solar chargers have an automatic restart feature, which we still recommend. -- Will it start charge automatic or need unplug and replug?

The Auto-restart function allows consistent charging becomes reality even when moving in or out of the shadow.
