What a nice, clean and easy coffee maker! I'm really pleased with this machine. It makes good coffe without leaving any mess on the counter and it doesn't burn the coffee when left on the heating plate. Nice!

Basic coffee pot capable of making a large, hot pot of black goodness that helps me 'get through this thing called life'. I am going all the way (5 star) for this basic drip maker. Obviously you can spend $400 and get a superior machine but in the basic coffee pot category? This one is great. Our last machine was so bad we celebrated when it died. Our last pot went through paper towels and cuss words like they were in competition with each other. Trying to pour from the carafe was a bloody nightmare with coffee dribbling off the pot mid pour. I hated that friggn thing. So did my hubs. This pot is so easy to pour from. It makes NO MESS. This one is easy to pour water into the back. There is no missing the pour area unless maybe you are drunk. (Note: Resulting cup of coffee may vary if/when there is alcohol involved.) It has a standard reusable basket for grounds right in the front that is super easy to clean, etc The auto shut-off works TOO GOOD for all day drinkers. I appreciate the safety feature regardless. It does it's job. I just have to keep turning it on. That is a personal preference that has more to do with my addiction than it does the integrity of the coffee pot. It has a timer so you can have that baby cooking up your first morning pot while you are still drooling on your pillow. Anyways, Good pot, good coffee. I really hope his one lasts longer than the last one. If it doesn't, I will probably look for an upgraded pot with the same carafe. Good luck!

By far the best coffee maker there is wouldn’t wanna buy anything else! I hope they keep selling this product indefinitely!

arrived on time & packet very well. This was a replacement for an old Black & Decker, so i went with the newer basic model since it lasted so long. This is the classic coffee maker style thats been around for ever. PROS: makes HOT coffee, the donut shape hot water dispenser does very well, no paper filters have fallen over with this design, still has the timer, and the best new feature is the STRONG setting thats for making 1 to 2 cups at a time, plus it save coffee too, also when 30+/- brews happen it tells u its time for cleaning & has a built in cleaning mode. CONS: the lighted buttons glow are very dim & are especially hard to see in a bright room, the carafe or pot lid that one usually uses the thumb to push down to open the lid, your thumb has to go down into the side handle a little & its unconformable tight area especially with big thumbs. All in all its a great basic automatic drip coffee maker and i hope this one last as long as its predecessor B&D model. Would buy again.

Perfect coffee pot coffee brewed timely. Easy to fill. Did not have a reusable filter.l have to purchase separately. The top of pot has been improved and stays closed. This is a good price coffee brewer. The coffee came out medium brew. There is a button for stronger coffee too.

Been with B&D coffee makers for years... like the water flow in middle of basket feature. Great coffee with a 'strong' setting. Lasts long enough.

I have had Mr. Coffee drip makers for many years and have loved them. But when I needed to replace my old one, I decided to try this Black and Decker. It is simple which is what I wanted. I love the strong brew feature which is what I always use. And the spray water head is great because it gets water throughout the coffee grounds rather than just coming out through one little hole. It makes a rich tasting cup of coffee. The only thing that bugs me is that when I lift the lid to take out the filter basket, water drips down the back of the coffee maker. But overall I am very happy with this coffee maker and highly recommend it!

This is the same basic programmable coffee pot B&D has sold for decades. It's replacing an earlier B&D model that works exactly the same and was 13 years old. Programming is easy, especially if you've had earlier versions of this coffee maker. This model does take a bit longer than other models to brew a pot, but that's mainly due to the water delivery system in it, I think. The coffee is worth waiting for, it's got a good taste. It comes out as hot as any drip maker I had too. I can see why other reviews are negative about the design and durability; but they're not right. The previous B&D maker I had was 13 years old and just getting replaced because it was getting old and gross. It feels like cheep plastic and it's light, but the thing is... this is a drip maker. That's what they are. That's why this is inexpensive. It's a workhorse though. 13 years, no problems, used daily. Over all, this is a great coffee maker. Solid design and will last for years. It's got a good size for the kitchen with no large footprint and is easily moved around as needed.

At first, I wasn’t too sure about this coffee maker, but now that I’ve gotten used to it and know how to use it. It’s actually a good coffee maker I like Black & Decker. And it makes pretty good coffee. At first, I didn’t give it a very good review. But it’s not the coffee maker. It was just the person who was trying to make the coffee. Now that I know how to use it it works good.

Makes good coffee fast and easy too fill, above all good price

I would give it a 5 but my delivery was a day late. The machine works great so far, nice hot coffee, quick to make.

Good inexpensive coffee machine, I specifically bought this one for the timer function and it works great. Would probably upgrade eventually but this was a good solution for me to make my morning a little easier.
